@Vesivian I know... I take it that your a pianist too. It really seems that non-experienced musicians only care about the person playing rather than the actual song! I will honestly say that I can play better than this while improvising with my eyes closed... You know what really suprises me? The song Un Sospiro hasn't been used in a movie yet! Look up the song if you haven't heard it. It's probably THE MOST beautiful song on the planet.

@beachhyxox According to the director of the film, Catherine Hardwicke, this is part of a two hour long improvisation. So, yes he is playing and no, it's not any specific song. It's made on the spot, out of his head. Apparantly he's been playing the piano and guitar since early childhood.

The musical director on the film mentions that Rob Pattinson is one of the biggest musical talents he's met.

If you read Midnight Sun on Stephenie Meyer's website that is what is happening. Except - funny thing - he took her bottle cap from her lemonade (in MS) and placed in on the piano, thinking of her, as he was composing. It's very sweet if you can go out there and read it.

I read in an interview w/CH where she said Rob did compose a piece for Bella's lullaby but for some reason they didn't use his verson instead they used CB's. It's really too bad because this is beautiful!! And it would have been awesome to use one that Rob actually composed himself. I love Rob he's so talented it's crazy!!
