This is the scene that made me wanna watch Skins. I didn't know anything about the show, but Cassie was so amazing here I had to watch it. But I was so f**cking upset that Hometown Glory wasn't the soundtrack in my DVD.

She understands that the best time of her life is already over and she cannot accept it.She runs away and meets Adam,who has the same situation.But then he disapears and his letter explains to Cassie,that you must go farther,because the life continues.And he will keep taking photos-he will keep living.And then Cassie understands that it`s her turn to accept life as it is with all changes.

I just don`t have words to explain how beautiful this scene is...

But i rather share my thoughts about it.I don`t think that Adam killed himself or something like that.Simply Cassie ran away to another place from all bad things that happened and everything changed,and Cassie cannot stop it,that`s why she don`t want to grow up.And she understands,that all their company(Tony,Mischell,Sid and others) will never be the same,first of all beacuse Cris died.

I hate how tragic seaon 2 ends. Sid goes to ny but we dont actually know if he found cassie. They were right next to eachother but didnt even notice it. Their whole relationships feels like theyre running after eachother in circles.

@hipnhappenin I personally prefer to think that he doesn't die either, he just leaves (her girlfriend was the one who was dead I think); it shows us how Cassie realizes you can't just try to run away,escape from what makes you suffer, and she has to grow up for once and for all.

@pranxx No he just move out realizing what he's missing, but the main theme of this scene is that everyone around Cassie sooner or later is leaving her alone. This scene is such a perfect metaphor for life itself that should be used from teachers in Movie colleges to show what Drama really is.

I love Skins. it is honestly the most powerful tv show Ive watched in a long time. It's not about anything sensational, just people trying to make it through their lives with all their difficulties and imperfections.

Adam did not commit suicide. at first i thought he did, however after analysing it, i believe he left to figure his life out. I thought that he had turned the pictures away again, however as you see when the camera pans out, that massive wall collage is gone. He's packed everything up- which is something i dont think a suicidal person would do.

And to those who don't get it, the scene is sad for cassie because she is once again being left alone.
