  • this show is what made me decide to apply to an all girls college in hopes for adventures like this.

  • i watched a documentary and i herd thay wanted to keep , Molly Ringwald) she left on her own that what i herd

  • go go bain

  • Blair is really pretty in her purple dress!

  • Blair's purple dress is really pretty.

  • @spartacus3ful the prnicple was still there until mrs G left to open Ednas edibles

  • the principle was still there all the way to when mrs G left to open Ednas edibles

  • HOW IS THE QUALITY SO GREAT? IT ALMOST LOOKS HIG DEF COMPARED TO OTHER VIDEOS WITH A LONG HISTORY.

  • The three "kids" of the bunch (Mindy Cohn, Kim Fields, Molly Ringwald) were interesting in that one of them had to go. Fields, being black, was obviously kept, plus the character of Tootie was dynamic. Cohn fit three categories: chubby, funny and Jewish, so she was kept. Molly Ringwald's character did not stand out in any way, though Ringwald had to be laughing later when her career soared far above all the girls who were retained.

  • Over half of these characters would not survive into the second season. Jenny O'Hara appeared in the first couple of episodes, and was booted. The principal and four of the girls were then shown the door after the first season. Too many redundancies. Why have two female staffers, Charlotte Rae was enough. Felice Schachter was too much like Lisa Whelchel (the glamor girls), and the tomboy characters played by Julie Haddock and Julie Piekarski were later morphed into one (Jo Polniaszek).

  • @spartacus3ful and it became more like FOXES but without the booze, drugs and sex but still funny and topical

  • Mr. Drummond was the best!

  • This video reminded me that Diff'rent Strokes (1978–1986) was a spin-off from The Facts of Life (TV Series 1979–1988). Dr David E Pair (late 1970s - early 1980s) was the Orthodontist of Kim Fields and I - the dentist office was located on Sherman Way and southwest of the Van Nuys Airport - where the ending of Cassablanca was filmed - in the San Fernando Valley.

  • I would still dig up the corpse of Dana Plato and have sex with it.

  • @sivazh

    BOO!

  • @sivazh That's probably the only way a creep like you could actually get sex.

  • I have noticed that shows with good theme songs last long.

  • that's doug heffernan's mom!

  • One of the best shows ever produced.

  • This show aired a little after a month i was born. BTW that Julie Piekarski was beautiful. It's a shame her career never went anywhere.

  • Dana Plato should have been in a few episodes since her character supposely went to Eastland

  • It must've been so heartbreaking to the actresses that got dropped after the first season of this show. At least Molly Ringwald made it really big later on. she's been voted the most popular teen idol of all time.

  • Ah Yes, Dana Plato, and the fair Lisa Welchel... they were a part of my teenage dreams!

  • I fantasize about this pilot episode all the time. I fantasize that the facts of life girls take Dana Plato into the girl's locker room, strip her down naked leaving only her tube socks on, and go down on her. Typical Hot Tube Sock Lesbian Action.
