  • MAN, this game was AWESOME!!!! played it 20 years back, getting old now :(

  • I never would have guessed!. I wish I would have had this back in the day!.

  • If you fly to the bottom right section of the screen and keep firing, then you doge almost everything.

  • This was hard. One of my first games ever.

  • CHINITO JAPONES!!!

no quelel calne, yo quelel aloz ....

  • yo lo jugaba y ni sabia que era macross cuando tenia 6 años q recuerdos

  • @fastovskyemanuel jajajajaja a mi me paso igual.

  • eu sinto muitas saudades desse jogo

  • the background song is called shao pai long... i love this game. played it back in the 80's on my famicom.... those were the days....

  • TO START PUSH

  • played a pirated version on my emulator

    looks the same

  • awesome

  • If i remember correctly, if you go into fighter mode and sit at the bottom-right of the screen nothing will hit you. Well, almost nothing. I finished the first two levels like that and I didn't have to fire a shot.

  • OMG! I have to try that, thx for the tip =P

  • oh my god, i never knew someone uploaded this. i have this on the classic controller that has so much old games. i love this game especially. i usally use the 2nd form. the song is awesome as well and farthest i reached is level 3.

  • Yes its a very hard game =P

  • Cool :D

  • Hehe.......I got one of those "76000 in 1" systemjs a long time ago, and just found this game on it. It has some pretty awesome music, doesn't it?

  • Yeah, it was a jewel at that time

  • EL MEJOR JUEGO DE NES YEAAAH

  • I have always wondered how you were able to change form in this game. When we were kids, my brother and I used to play this game in the Famicom, and he sometimes (unintentionally) was able to change forms. What button(s) exactly should you press to do this? o_o

And as a side note, I just love the music that plays when you finish a level. xD

  • to be honest, i don't remember how i changed forms =S just that it was easy to do, i think it was up+B or down+B or something like that, anyway the game is very hard >_>

    thanks for the comments =P

  • This looks like a decent game unlike that Transformers game that came out for the Famicom.

  • i remember this.... the hardes ones to beat was the green robots and was funny launch missiles from your back wen you change to a robot form... : )

  • Y love this game

  • watashi no kare wa pilot would've been a better choice, but shao pai long is ok too

  • Shao Pai Ron is kind of an odd choice for background music, isn't it? Using some actual BGM from the series would have worked better.

  • Well Shao Pai Long, actually was a theme in the original Macross..... but of course not in Robotech

  • it's the song of Minmay's that was most popular in the series.

  • That green background shown at 1:26, is suposed to be a zentraedi capital ship
