I have a Korg Ampworks modeller, but I'd like better distortion. Could you recommend a pedal that would make my bass (Gibson SG) sound Jack Bruce EB3-ish??
@Drblooter99 Well, I'm playing through my little korg pandora here and getting this tone through my sound card .. the pandora isn't really suitable for live play as it's too noisy ... I really don't use pedals very often, other than overdriving a tube amp and striking the strings hard, I dunno! A gibson SG sounds nice ... :) If you find a pedal that imitates Jack Bruce's early sound, let me know too OK? :)
@Drblooter99 haha ... OK then ... I rammed a screwdriver through a stereo speaker when I was 17 and played my bass through it in an attempt to get that J.B. tone ... it didn't sound too bad actually ... hehe
