  • A perfectly good See and Say tossed (right before the bean bag gets thrown in, too.

  • I love your vid just wondering if you guys have any recycling or yard waste or does it all go in one truck

  • Beautiful, just f%#kin beautiful...........

  • Where does this go landfill or Incinerater?

  • Looks like someone had a right out clear out there! I got lots of crap you could crush haha, but I live in UK :( I will take it down my local dumping yard..and watch it get crushed and shredded :D

Great videos.. could watch these all day!

  • Y can't I stop watching these videos

  • I could watch this all day.........

  • Check out my video of destroying our busted dishwasher..

  • you should get the rear loader

  • what a load of trash! great vid thanks 4 sharing

  • Is there are pressure limiter on the pre-crush panel or whatever you call the panel that comes down from the top.

Seems like when stuff would push up against it, it would go back up. Assuming that was so it wouldn't break, but as a result, it takes longer to clear the area.

  • how long does the press goes in? is it a limit of the load, or does it goes all the way in when taking the first bins ?

  • Why can't any of my neighbors put out cool shit like that?!

  • ever put anything in there that wouldnt compact? I remember hearing sofas were pretty tough

  • Great precrushing technique on DISHWASHER at 0:30!! and SOFA CHAIR at 3:13 and 3:26!!! I have more respect for MSLs now even though I am a RL guy!! It goes to show you that MSLs can be more efficient in one-man operation destroying anything you put in them!! GREAT JOB!!!

  • How much garbage can you fit into that truck?

  • Most of the big tank on the back can be filled with compressed garbage.

  • usually around 10 tons

  • wow thats a lot of SHIT mate...

  • This is so AWESOME video!

    I like it!

  • In Germany we must sorting the garbage. wood comes to wood, plastic to plastic and metal to metal. at a garbage day there are 3 trucks on the way for the various materials

  • we sort in some of the us soem places theres a recycle truck, regular garbage, and a yard waste for grass, wood etc..

  • Where i live there are 3 different trash cans for plastic, wood, and garbage

  • HOLY SHIT 4:18 I HAVE THE SAME SUIT CASE

  • Quite a bit of Christmas left-overs I can see.

  • has you camera ever fallin in?

  • that luggage must be Samsonite! :-O It sure took a beating for a while there!

  • cool

  • I want the bean bag at 3:04 after it went through the truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You have good sense of camera view, the retention plate controll is exelent :P

  • Thanks!

  • dude awesome id go in there if it was off of course never go into a compactor when its on

  • I did not know that furniture and electronics were picked up by normal garbage trucks in the United States, Do they pick up refrigerators as well, and if so wouldn't it be a problem with the freon in old refrigerators both for the crew and the ozon layer. In Denmark the garbage trucks usually wont touch anything apart from garbage and normal trash, the rest you would have to take to the collecting stations your self.

  • I miss the old hopper vew

  • in the UK use a crush pull type lorry it would crush all that in one go, still the US ones are great for crushing.great vid

  • Absolutely gorgeous! It doesn't get any better than this!!

  • u should kick open the bottoms of sofas and chairs to c if theres money in them. i did it once and found £5 in change!!:)

  • I found about a dollar worth of change in a dryer I tore apart.. lol

  • nice lol ;D

  • oh ya I also found two $100 bills picking up aluminum cans along a rural road one time! one on each side of the road!

  • That was a good video. I have give it a 5 star rating. The chair you threw in did not put much of a fight up. Did you not check to see if that red suitcase (04.15 in the video) was full of $50 bills before you threw it in the crusher. Only kidding.

  • Thank you! Unfortunately no 50$ bills were found...

  • That was awesome seeing the racks for the dishwasher getting crushed and everything...but I wouldn't want that dishwasher anymore!! There's something to be said for hearing all the crunching, the engine, and 'being there' as opposed to having the music in background, however music does give it a nice touch sometimes...thanks for posting! One question: how many houses a day just put out manual bins, would you say?

  • Depends on the day and time of year. Now that spring is here and the weathers nice its like running two seperate routes, yardwaste and trash, at the same time.Anywhere from 60-90% of people will have extra trash and containers besides the cart we give them, and some have ALOT. The yardwaste is the worst, 90lb bags of dirt and grass, tree branches, shrubbery etc.Or do you mean no cart and their own containers only? There are only a small handfull of people that wont use a cart.

  • I agree with you on the yard waste. Here in NY, every spring when the snow starts to melt, I get the bags of a winters worth of thawing dog turds about a 40lb. bag of, well, I just can't explain the mess it makes in a sideloader. Great videos, I can feel pain and frustration, I once tried to crush a car hood for one of my customers and it wraped around the crusher panel, I spent the next 30 min. prying the hood off to get the crusher panel up. But, I got it in.

  • Lol I know about the dog poop. When you pack it alot of times it will squeeze under or around the blade and ends up in the cleanout area, where you have to scrape it out at the end of the day. Ive also done the same thing with a car hood, and other awkward large objects.Stuff like that can be frustrating at times, but once its done its easily forgotten and no big deal. As you know, like with most jobs, its not all fun, even if you love what you do. I'll take this over an office job any day though!

  • msn its amazing the things people throw out!!! around here, the garbage truck wont take old metal scraps let alone a whole table!!!!

  • @treasurehunter1 can you earn money 'on the side ' like we do in the uk .

  • did you check the suitcase? for goodies or even BODYPARTS?

  • Lol I shook it around a bit, felt empty.

  • it looks like ALL of you videos have high quality! not fair.. lol.. I'm watching your vids in HQ from now on, just noticed that now.

  • Great video! Gave it 5 stars. Is there NOTHING that you can't mash?

  • well maybe if people recycled like they should people wouldnt tell them too donate it for a tax credit then the assholes on here wouldnt tell us too shut up about goodwill and other charity's i dont see anybody donating anything on here

  • we donate almost anything that's good and reusable.. if the thrift store throws it, that's their problem then not ours.

  • .............you crushed a tree?????

ahahahahahahaha thats funny right there i don't care who you are thats funny!!!!!!

  • Lol I didnt realize that crushing fake plastic trees was funny

  • found a wheel chair in the trash sold it for 50 bucks at a yard sale also found naked pics of britney and lindsy lohan i couldnt get shit for them LOL

  • lol

  • Great!

  • Fun to watch but so much good stuff wasted that litle table was a shame to bust up oh well.Good video 5 stars .

  • Now thats some good stuff-never gets old

  • It sure takes a lot to stop up the hydraulics like that. Took a while to digest that dishwasher.

  • Yeah I could have raised the panel back up and smacked it down a little further initially but I wanted it to get bitten in half like that =)

  • lol. I see you got your truck back. What all did they do to it? I like the background.

  • Actually this was back in January, it's some scenes from his buried in the USA video w/o the music.

  • Its still waiting for a new and correctly made power steering gearbox to come off the assembly line...

  • So the one thats in it now, isn't the right one?

  • It had some sort of defect that caused it to leak, I guess they figured out that it was made wrong somehow.

  • I don't how they could make it wrong. It can be ridiculous sometimes thats for sure.

  • Probably in a hurry to move units, and now I get to wait around for who knows how long...

  • I think I just came:-) AWESOME crushing action...FANTASTIC VIDEOS...Thank you Sooo much!!!

  • More like this would be awesome

  • Wow this was a really good video! I really enjoyed watching this one a lot, thanks for posting it! again, 5 stars!

  • good video!

  • i agree with squishdoll, i work in the waste industry, and some charity shops i goto the bins are just full of stuff that they cant sell. ive been told by someone from a shop that if they cant sell it within 2 weeks then they throw it out cause it takes up too much shelf and storage space

  • So many things to destroy!

  • Simply amazing...

  • people ever hear of goodwill or salvation army perfectly good furniture. looked a type writer in the suitcase

  • People ever heard of not writing this same suggestion over and over?

Seems like every time a member posts video of something going into a trash truck someone gets upset it did not go to Goodwill or something.

Trash is trash and Goodwill, Salvation Army and the rest of them send truckloads of this stuff to the landfills every day and it just costs them more money to have to handle it. They only keep the best. I just watched another big bin of compacted Goodwill donations go to landfill today!LOL

  • ya they do throw a lot of stuff away, like that thrift store with the compactor in my video.. but I think it's always best to donate something if it's usable, that way at least it has a chance of someone being able to use it, if they throw it, that's their problem then.

  • used too work for goodwill now every time i mention them i get paid not much cause they're cheap a holes

  • Yeah, I know they don't pay much. I do like their concept, it does help but the issues are that they have to sell to cover their overhead and their is much more supply than demand. The same holds true for recyclables, we now have stock piles of reclaimed materials but not enough demand for the recycled materials. Sad but true!

I used to work for an org that researched recycling and came to the conclusion, there will always be lots of garbage going to landfills or incinerators somewhere...:(

  • you should have seen the stuff someone was throwing out at the dump when I was there, about 60-70 perfectly good CDs, no scratches! 2 of them unopened. There was some other good stuff too. I kept the CDs they didn't want. that comment you left in my video about Dolly Parton.. that was when they were looking through the CDs.
