this is still my favorite final fantasy movie... love it!! years ago i cant really decide if the movie was real or not... its really great... i also remembered this was my first influence on what will be the future like.. touch screens, recording dreams,ships, cool type of flare... wow everything is so realistic. just skip the aliens.. ghost of aliens whatever..

FF8 was good, but it left a lot unexplained.

FF7's story was MUCH deeper. One of the, if not THE, best games ever made.

Now now please. If you havent played any final fantasy games. Start with ff8 its way better than 7. The story line is awesome. Im not taking anything a from 7 its a very good game. But 8 man. Its by far my favourite game ever. Even now.

Final Fantasy VIII was my starting point for the series as well, and I loved it. I first played it about eight / nine years ago and it's one of my favourite games to this day.

A lot of my mates of obcessed with FF7, which, I admit, I did think was a good game, and claim it is a better game than FF8, but it's all a matter of opinion, huh?

I played FF8 through a couple of times, before playing FF7, and I think it is the better game of the two, in my opinion, despite FF7 having Sephiroth.

there is no whole final fantasy story...each final fantasy (ex. V, VII, X) are considered volumes, not sequels. every one is completely different. start with FFVII. by far the best.

I've beaten all the ff7 games and i mean all even that dirge of cerberus rip-off. to answer your question sephiroth is hojos son and rufus ( the boss) got hurt when diamond weapon attacked midgar in final fantasy seven the game. (still own that game and beat it like at least 14 times)

Sephiroth killed aerith when she summoned the white materia and zack was killed defending cloud from a shinra soldier attact. Zack and aerith were dating and friends of cloud (sum it up)

The bad guys, who were they and who is "mother"?

One of the bad guys turns himself into Sephiroth, who is the son of professor Hojo who got all messed up during the experiment?

Who is the boss? Why was he pretending to be crippled?

Who are the two people that Cloud feels guilty over having let die?

This is really confusing...please help me out and enlighten me on this!

mother is an alien being that the bad guys were basicaly created from, their the same as sepiroth only no where near as powerful. The boss was the president of Shinra and he was hurt in an explosion from the game. Aeries is a girl that got killed that he cared about and Zach was the male, he was Cloud's best friend during his war time.

Also, when the boss falls off the building, he dies?

And was Sephiroth the son of professor Hojo? How does the bad guy who is part of the alien turn into Sephiroth before he dies? :O Was Sephiroth the alien?

First Question..

The girl is Aeries. Second, No the professor doesn't dies he is caught in a net that two of his men pulled out. Third, I don't think Sephiroth was his son. The bad guy consumed the rest of 'mother' before he fell. And no, Sephiroth isn't the Alien. He was one of the strongest SOLIDERs that was created with the cells of Yevona [I think thats how the name it spelled].

Thanks for answering... A freind of mine filled me in on the games and movie. Sephiroth actually is the son of Hojo, though while he was still in his mother's womb they put the Jenova (the Americans spell it with "J"... :P in him.
