  • @DarkMage965 haha i love that description! ill have to remember that :)

  • @DarkMage965 yeah you're right. Tom can really make the guitar sing. and Boston sound is like it's taking listeners to a whole new world. RIP Brad.

  • @DarkMage965 Excellent description.

  • Love that Boston guitar sound through the telephone! (3:58)

  • I LOVE this song

  • I think this is quite possibly the most "enjoyable" rock song ever recorded!

  • @Dimension150 I would have to agree with that. I love this song!

  • @Dimension150... I Agree with UR Answer

  • @Dimension150 yea

  • @Dimension150 no rock n' roll band is

  • boston is my all time favorite band im only 11 and i hate modern music and most people my age loves modern music

  • same goes for me. it really sucks that people cant identify music that actually contains talent from garbage, synthetic, computer made beeps.

  • @classicrockonly yea ive got a roomie right now that wont listen to any other 90's rock other than the popular 90's music from gin blossoms, 3rd eye blind, ect, not cake, primus or any other less popular 90's group

  • @phil656565 hehe thats interesting. i like alternative rock bands for sure. from the 90s mostly

  • @classicrockonly yea i love it

  • @phil656565 Do u like Alice In Chains much?

  • @classicrockonly some yes some no, some of their songs just sound too monotone to me

  • @phil656565 yeah. some can be that way. i like alot of their faster stuff. hate to feel, angry chair, and iron gland are the ones i really dont like.

  • @classicrockonly spot on

  • i love your profile picture!

  • thanks! :D

  • @oldrocknroll1 im 13 and i love this. It's awsum. most of my friends listen 2 this. I used 2 hate all modern bands also. No offense but u should listen 2 sum modern music. there's a lot of rly awsum music from the 21st century

  • 45 years old, Still Rockin to tunes such as these! I'll never Grow up or Grow old.

  • And I am a 17 years old Boston fan XD

  • great man! i love seeing people around my age in love with the classic music. boston is my 3rd favorite band, honestly, it shocks me when someone doesnt like at least 1 of their songs.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tulase im 13 and i love this

  • I LOVE this song. I grew up on Boston :) Im a proud 16 year old Boston fan haha :D

  • I'm with ya there! (except im 15 lol)

  • boston is so freakin awesome!!!!

  • I remember a radio interview where Brad told how they got the whaling guitar sounds. They rigged a Wurlitzer organ up to a tube amp(if I am recalling it correctly), and used the analog sound effects from the organ along with the amp. No synthesizers.

They were a groundbreaking rock band, and really a novelty band, to boot.

    What artists !

  • wow thats awesome. i wish i could try that :)

  • Boston is one of the best bands ever. To take years only to make the sound they wanted WITHOUT synthesizers and any technology short of an electric guitar. They truely rock - Defend the Faith and post on

  • Thank you for posting this gem, sincerely. It's a beautiful lesson in a song, and no one could sing it the way Bradley did.

  • 1960 for me and living in this country at that time was and will always be the best you could have ask for , ROCK ON GUYS AND GALS . More than ever Peace Of Mind means alot !!!!

  • and you're one lucky duck for being born in that age.

  • this is a great band.... almost every song on this album was as great as there best!

tas of today, this is the kind of stuff we wont hear anymore of, we hear the crappy hip hip stuff that steals tunes and rewrites it into a crapper version, and the crappy modernb bands that just suck.

lets remember the good old days!

  • thats so true. todays music is just horrid. no beat, no talent. i just wish i could have lived in the good old days.

  • ah boston can always put me in a better mood. even in this confusing and annoying dilemma im in. I thank Brad for his great music every time i hear it.

  • Im only 14 and absolutely love classic rock and boston

  • all right! join the great 8%!

  • Im only 20 and think that this is one of the greatest songs of all times , fuck modern music, this was when music was music.

  • Love your screen name

    Love your profile pic

    Love the song

    Well done, sir

  • thank you for the compliments and im glad you enjoyed the song :)

  • I was born in the early 60's and this was the music of my youth. What an incredible time to be a kid. The world was still raw in those days.................:)

  • i wish i had been born in the time when music was like this: good. sadly, i was born in the shitty 90s

  • 1 of the best songs EVER...

    N'uf said, huh?

    Possibly the best band ever....

  • i totally agree. so much optimism in this band. amazing singing and guitarists.

  • kick ass. brings me back to age 10 or so......this stuff blew my little mind. still awesome

  • aw well your a lucky sob to have actually lived in that time period. i wish i could have been to one of their concerts =(

  • My youngest kid fell in love with Boston and a couple of years ago we went to see them (my kid was 14). They had another singer to help Brad on the high notes, but it was a hell of a show... you only missed them by a couple of years...

  • I am a singer, and I have a good range similar to what Brad had. I'm going on 36 now, and age doesn't do kind things to this kind of voice. It must have been hard for Brad, hearing his voice slowly lose the ability to hit the notes. I don't know what I'll do when I lose mine. Never famous, but I love music.

  • that is true...and that really sucks your starting to lose quality in your singing =(

its something ill never enjoy cuz ive always sucked lol

but, enjoy it, singing is a great gift

  • Hey mate......too bad you are not in the Toronto,

Canada area, 'cause i'd love to find somebody with a voice even close to that of Brad Delp's!!

I'm a guitar player and I'm putting together a classic rock/blues band. Keep on rockin'.......

    peace, steve

  • Good to hear there are still people doing it! If I didn't already feel old ( I am about to turn 37 ) I would pack up and join you. 10 years ago, I would have done it without a second thought. But I've abused my body over the years, and I cannot say how much time I have with my voice....I know I've lost some range already. Still though, you make me feel good with your comment! rock on man.

  • cont...the grill thing didn't work. I just think Brad could and should have been saved. I just am discussted that this happened. Brad I hope you have finally found peace my friend. You are and always will be loved and missed by Boston fans. we love ya Bro

  • yes i totally agree... i dont know wat he was depressed about but. i do hope he found peace after his death

  • really amazing voice..i'm a singer and i'm amazed by this guy..as for the suicide, i know that good people with feelings are beatiful and fragile as flowers..i can see it in his face, hear it in his voice that he was one of them..a lot of love from greece

  • Really sad considering the man who sang this song, Brad Delp, committed suicide

  • i totally agree, Brad was a great singer, and i also wish i knew the reason y he committed suicide

  • One thing I would like to bring up. Someone had to have known something was very wrong with Brad. I myself have suffered from major Depression with my combat experiences in Special Forces. You just can't tell me that his behavior remained unchanged. I mean really, what Brad did to commit suicide was very well thought out in my opinion. Not only did he light 2 grills in his bathroom, but he had run tubing from his car exaust to the interior of his car. He was said to have done this just incase

  • maybe he killed hiself cuz he was tired of getting pussy and shit loads of money =P

but seriously, all musicians have their reasons...

  • very true...but i dont think any man would get tired of money and pussy :D

  • WHAT? I didnt know that.

  • Awesome production on this album, sounds great

  • thanks, i'm glad you enjoyed it. i ripped it straight off the album

  • Someone build a timemachine so we can got back to the 70's

  • wouldnt that be nice

  • first album i ever bought...i was 11...other than Segers Against the Wind its probably the most listened to record in my life

  • yea, its an amazing album...only 1 i have of them though sadly

  • I remember listening to Boston while signing up for my Junior year classes. My 16 year old son says I was so lucky to have this kind of music when I was a teen. He loves my Boston, Journey and AC/DC...and I love his Zombie and Manson!

  • i totally agree with what you say, i really wish i was there during the 60s-80s

  • I remember listening to this when I was 7. and I loved it so much I learned all the words and scream it out. you can't help it

  • lol sweet. i kinda grew up around boston as well, great band

  • I belive you you would know better than i would.I'll Correct my friend on it too

    Thx for the info

  • lol, and can you tell me where he heard that from plz? its kinda funny because everywhere i look it says peace of mind :P

  • Boston Rocks But The Song Is Accually Called Tke A Look Ahead
