I remember the night i found out he passed away. I could not sleep at all and I put on Boston on Itunes...tossing and turning all night I put the radio on like at 2am and they announced he had taken his life.
brad, you are lying in peace and quietness and you have got us all rockin to bits, i guess you planned it that way. rock on brother, you and tom were meant for each other.
Some great shit. Quite possible the best pure jamming rock album ever made. I know I wore out 2 vinyl albums in the 70's. When it come out it was boss.

@imassage1212 100% of those listening may not like something.....This song, and Boston, take me back to my 1st semester in college......I love it......taste in rock-n-roll is in the ears of the beholder.....live and let live....as for me, it's a thumbs up.
recipe: one cool human, add alcohol and amyl nitrate (pigsweat), add boston "peace of mind", shake and stir... bliss!! this is one of those songs that "god" warned you about!!
Let me say this about that: Probably one of the greatest rock groups of all time!! Hey, I'm 71 years old and have seen and heard many, many groups. These guys are great - and still are, even after all of these years.

@classicrockonly dude just thx, thx for uploading this song mn this song reminds so much of my lil sis everytime I play my bass to this song I just remember my sis cuz she's my peace of mind this is a great band too bad the newer generation don't know what real good music is nowadays nothing like the 60's and 70's man music has died RIP Brad Delp btw
@fedearg93 bueno parcero yo hablo español esta es una de las mejores bandas de los 70's Boston lastima que Brad Delp(el vocalista y tercer guitarrista) se suicido en el 2007. great man! i love seeing people around my age in love with the classic music. boston is my 3rd favorite band, honestly, it shocks me when someone doesnt like at least 1 of their songs.
I remember a radio interview where Brad told how they got the whaling guitar sounds. They rigged a Wurlitzer organ up to a tube amp(if I am recalling it correctly), and used the analog sound effects from the organ along with the amp. No synthesizers.
They were a groundbreaking rock band, and really a novelty band, to boot.
Boston is one of the best bands ever. To take years only to make the sound they wanted WITHOUT synthesizers and any technology short of an electric guitar. They truely rock - Defend the Faith and post on
1960 for me and living in this country at that time was and will always be the best you could have ask for , ROCK ON GUYS AND GALS . More than ever Peace Of Mind means alot !!!!
this is a great band.... almost every song on this album was as great as there best!
tas of today, this is the kind of stuff we wont hear anymore of, we hear the crappy hip hip stuff that steals tunes and rewrites it into a crapper version, and the crappy modernb bands that just suck.
ah boston can always put me in a better mood. even in this confusing and annoying dilemma im in. I thank Brad for his great music every time i hear it.
I was born in the early 60's and this was the music of my youth. What an incredible time to be a kid. The world was still raw in those days.................:)
My youngest kid fell in love with Boston and a couple of years ago we went to see them (my kid was 14). They had another singer to help Brad on the high notes, but it was a hell of a show... you only missed them by a couple of years...

But I've abused my body over the years, and I cannot say how much time I have with my voice....I know I've lost some range already. Still though, you make me feel good with your comment! rock on man.
cont...the grill thing didn't work. I just think Brad could and should have been saved. I just am discussted that this happened. Brad I hope you have finally found peace my friend. You are and always will be loved and missed by Boston fans. we love ya Bro
really amazing voice..i'm a singer and i'm amazed by this guy..as for the suicide, i know that good people with feelings are beatiful and fragile as flowers..i can see it in his face, hear it in his voice that he was one of them..a lot of love from greece
One thing I would like to bring up. Someone had to have known something was very wrong with Brad. I myself have suffered from major Depression with my combat experiences in Special Forces. You just can't tell me that his behavior remained unchanged. I mean really, what Brad did to commit suicide was very well thought out in my opinion. Not only did he light 2 grills in his bathroom, but he had run tubing from his car exaust to the interior of his car. He was said to have done this just incase
I remember listening to Boston while signing up for my Junior year classes. My 16 year old son says I was so lucky to have this kind of music when I was a teen. He loves my Boston, Journey and AC/DC...and I love his Zombie and Manson!
it is a good song, but no its called peace of mind, it even says on the "Boston" album, check it out. if you dont have it then wiki it because idk how else i could show ya. btw, thx for watching ^^
im serious...^_^...i mean the only way for me to listen to this song is if mom dusted off her old record....and if the ancient record player will play without being kicked a thousand times...
