they were familiar with the world,what went on around them.thats what they studied. today we are hypnotised by the tv,are hooked up to iphones like they are our oxygen and drown out the world with our ipods,, our curiousity about the world is being distracted,we are being dumbed down. I guess i was thinking that documentaries by today's standards seem a lot more based on actual facts rather ending things with too many open questions, surprisingly insightful for the time, yet somehow annoying to hear (or maybe i was just feeling grumpy..). And that some of the arguments made could be more even more convincing and better backed up today with all the additional evidense available that wasn't yet known in the 70s..
