I can't figure out how being the first lady means one has experience as a politician. OK, it makes one famous, she cuts a lot of ribbons, meets a lot of important people at dinner, but really, shes pretending to be an incumbent to the white house. Its just not true. Vice Presidents are considered superfluous, and vestigal, and still they have more experience than a first lady does. They're at policy meetings, strategy comittee meetings etc. A first lady at these meetings would be usurping power.
