My heart goes out to him, he is the most under estimated singer in this country and can knock spots off Tom Jones and Englebert, who incidently I love also, he has been dealt a very raw deal in this country. An underrated vocalist. His impersonations seems to have undermined his reputation as a talented vocalist in his own right.

i remember when i was a kid, he had his own saturday afternoon show around the time off dusty bin, the 80s.
The show was fantastic, you had 321, a bit of grumbleweeds, russ abbot, and some joe longthorne all on one saturday.Those were the days, good old saturday evening entertainment.cant reproduce that now!

seen joe longthorne in belfast waterfront hall last nite ,he was the best i ve ever seen him ,top class / roy walker was on first for 1 hour ,then joe did a full 2 hour show / he sang all the top notes great and his band was very good too /

Just saw Joe perform at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow recently. I must say he looked better than he did on his last visit to glasgow. The remarkable thing about this entertainer is you pay your money for a ticket to see him and you get at least a dozen other acts thrown in too!! Joe (inspirational) the very best of health to you, hears looking forward to Edinburgh in May

Saw Joe for the first time at Glasgow concert hall on 28th.april 2008
The man was outstanding, however his courage shone through like a beacon.The Scots love true grit and will take Joe to their hearts
