  • The elfs are so pretty,so is there language

  • good job :) but keep working...

  • Truly amazing.Galadriel's lament makes me sad, particularly when spoken in elvish.I have a hard time working with Quenya, too.I love Sindarin!!

  • Very nice - just there is at least one spelling error:

Ai. Laurie (there should be two dots .. above the e, I can't find it on my keybord)

That means the e is spoken seperatly lauri-e like the first e in elephant.

    Sorry for my english.

  • this video is very nice !! well done..

But where have you learn to speak Quenya/Sindarin ?

  • Beautiful.

  • please what is the song in the backround?

  • The song in the backround is from Enya.

It's on the soundtrack from the lotr CD. It means "Aníron" In english: I desire! I can give you the lyrics if you like. :)

  • How did you learn to speak like that?

Does anyone know how I can learn Quenya?

  • You should take a Quenya course. There are two only. I suggest you take the one found in Ardalabmion.

  • Okay Thanks! I know the alphabet, just not the words :P

  • wonderful

  • Very well done.

  • can somebody help me where i can get books ore something like that about elfish?

    thanks!

  • Unless you're willing to put up with 9 cases, I suggest studying something a smidge easier. If you have no experience with cases, take a look at Turkish or Russian first. Both of those are easier to learn for English speakers than Quenya and will give you some experience with case base languages, which are very, very different. Search for Turkish grammar in wikipedia.

  • sick i speak both turkish and russian i can help anyone i guess

  • there are websites. one is elrond's counsil. it has a whole dictionary on it

  • that`s true i`m about to learn it myself

    :)

  • awesome. it takes a lot of skill and time to learn elvish =)

  • beautiful, although the pronunciation of Quenya is not perfect - the plosive consonants are aspirated, though Tolkien avoids it in his own speech. But otherwise, very good

  • ownage adfdasfasdfsa

  • Your voice is quite beautiful, well done.

  • wow. it is very great. :)

the pictures are beautiful. where do you get them from?

  • wow, sounds really good! you really can speak sindarin? i started to learn it, but it´s diffucult an i haven´t got a good book for learning....could you send me the words?

  • great video! I love the pictures, the evenstar song and the reading.the only "annoying"is the sound because of the microphone

  • I agree with you,I think she speak to near microphone

  • The backround music is from theme "Diminishment of the Elves" i suppose...but where can i find this?!

  • Really good, Like the pictures to.

  • lovely, the voice sounds just like how the elf queen's did in the movie, almost -

  • how did u learn this ?

  • írima ! :D

  • Your classical consonants are exemplary to all Modern English speakers. ;-} If you want the absolutely correct word stress instead of the Italian default, just push it back a syllable in the longer words.

  • just a tip, it will sound better if you turn the volume on your mic up, and keep it further away from your mouth, but, your performance was outstanding :D

  • o-o -_- o-o...OHHH!!!!! ELVISH!!!!! xP 5/5

  • hehe,i had a cold when i was saying it,so thats why i sound all rushed,im gonna do a repost of this later, when im not all flegmy :P

  • Elo! I bain!

  • thank you!^_^

i was thinking maybe i would do the hymn to elbereth next and then maybe something in rohirric if i could find it.

  • yes, the hymn to Elbereth would be great!. Concerning Rohirric: There is a very beautiful poem called The Missing about Eowyn, it is contained partly in the soundtrack. You might want to find that (Heo naefre wacode daegred....) Hahah, I only think we two will end up having identical videos in the end :)

  • i will definately keep it in mind for the future!^_^

  • not bad either! well done!and great choice of pictures! thanks for your praise of my recitation.

This poem is really beautiful and inspiring.

  • little afterthought: please post a video in sindarin, i bet your sindarin must be great!!
