Fallout: New Vegas may have better gameplay, but Fallout 3 has a better story and much better music. Anybody else agree? (DO NOT THUMBS UP, JUST REPLY.)
@88Meters Agreed. New Vegas has you being a pawn to some power-hungry faction (unless you go with Yes Man.) Fallout 3's story is just incredible. Trust into a world you've never know, you chase your father across the wilderness and bring clean water to all, while ousting an evil faction.
@arcticmunchy truly your opinion, & u influence no one. the Ink Spots influence more than you do & Jerry Daniels the lead singer has been dead for decades. music lives on & it is an individual decision. you are of no importance. enjoy you daft twit
well there is a one thing..there is no galaxy news radio after you get "thrown" outta vault.. I think there is no connection around vault in the start
No, im sure that in 60 years time you can pick 5 or 6 songs from the 00's , which are great and come to conclusion that music in the 00's was great. These are just a few famous songs from the 30s/40/50s
@arcticmunchy well when you know of all styles or genres that existed in the 30's-50's than one can judge. the music remains & is loved I will gladly discuss anything from underground rural delta hokum blues, Jass,Jazz Dixieland,British Light Classical, Jump R&B, R&B vocal harmony or (Doo Wop) or many other if you wish then let ppl decide for themselves with their indiviual preferences & opinions
@Craziness714 the Ink Spots were from Ind. IN formed in 1935 you would like the Mills Bros. too. listen to "If I didn't care" by the Ink Spots from 1939 they used it in Shawshank great song! take care
@Craziness714 I dont think it is necesarily "better music"
I dont actually love this music.
I love it for the feeling they put on to the game, and the atmosphere they produce when youre in a wasteland of fallout, or in the depths of the dystopian rapture, lurking with adam-psychos who want to put you down..
@DylanMatthewB I know, it fits perfectly and even start to actually like the songs, one i like alot is the one from bioshock 2 "here comes the boogieman" if you havent heard it yet, please do so (:
This reminds me of when James dies, because when I beat the game the first time, this song played at that moment

Do people like this kind of old music from the 50s because they associate it with Fallout or Bioshock? Or do you all actually like it.
I honestly like this music ever since I bought Fallout...

Well the Depression was over by the 50s, and if it weren't for the fact I was a minority, I'd happily go back to those times. Haha!

@badacyborg you mean over by the 30s :)

Yeah, but this game was based on the 50s time frame, which is what I meant.

I wonder what a classic would be 50 years from now. Hopefully it's not fucking Jay-Z or any of that crap.
AnxietyPro 2 years ago 7
so true i wish we DID live in a alternate world so i could listen to this meaningful music
poik12 2 years ago 2
Okay, that's not an anagram, it's called an Acronym. And Hip-Hop's not so bad. But I agree, I dislike most of Jay-Z's music.

All the games that are using old music, like Fallout and Bioshock, are really showing me how much better music used to be back then.
