I think your resolution is great! I really appreciated everything you said about how this is not just a phase of your life. I think so many people who are trying to lose weight, myself included, lose sight of that idea. Diet soda is the devil! Thank you for all your videos and I hope you continue to make these because they have been very important to my personal weight loss journey

Adam! I would pay anything to be as calm and well-spoken as you are.

You said some powerful things in the middle there about how this is not a phase. This is not a phase. That really hit home for me, because I've been trying to word that feeling JUST SO and haven't been able to come to it. You also touched on the imperfection that we all have to accept in ourselves... such an important key to weight loss and to our own self-improvement.

i've always been afraid to say it is not just a phase... in 2004 I lost 80lbs and gained it all back and more within 2 years. - I know this time it is more though. it feels incredible!

I like what said.. that you'll still have good days and bad days re: food. I so often think I need to just FIX the problem and get on with it but that's never how it is. It's incredibly scary when you first realize that you might have to fight the temptation to binge for the rest of your life. I definitely agree that it's realistic not pessimistic. I was in denial of that for so long which caused me to gradually keep gaining weight. Eventually, I came to that realization. It was actually through finding your videos.Your entire journey has been amazing to watch and incredibly inspirational.
