Even if they are those awesome heros to you, you can't have respect for someone who doesnt have it for you. Any one would hate Peter in Caspian's feet's.
And you have to remember that they wanted to show with this movie how help isnt always what you espect.

I too LOVE Narnia, and for some things I agree, when Peter is walking with Caspian and then Lucy asks Peter what happened or whatever they start arguing and what made me laugh is when caspian is like "HEY!!!" i was like whoa.
I agree that Caspian probably doesn't have the right amount of respect for the Pevensies as the kings and queens of old, although I must admit, if my greatest hero showed up and, in quick succesion, insulted me, my race, and my father, I'd have trouble not reaching for my sword too. And i couldn't see Peter in that scene either, except the "Peter" we've been seeing in the trailers. I wonder where he went...Maybe to wherever Susan went.
It is Queen Susan the Gentle and Queen Lucy the Valiant. So, I agree Lucy's character would make more sense at battle the only thing she is so much younger it wouldn't fit very well.
I like what they've done with Peter and Caspian's characters a lot. I thought their characters were very flat in the book, and Caspian is only disrespectful towards Peter because he's angry about all the lives that were lost.
I may be mistaken, but I think Caspian and Edmund pull swords on each other in VDT. So there is some precedent in the books. I think Caspian and the Pevensies consider each other equals after the initial awe wears off. Nonetheless, I agree that the conflict is probably overdone.
For me, the whole Caspian/Peter clip was SO unexpected. Seeing them shouting at each other was so scary and so...disturbing to watch! I don't know how I'll put up with it in the movie. Hopefully, in the theatre when I see this scene I'll control myself and not give in to screaming out NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! With all these changes I'm slowly starting to hate the characters. And I don't want to!!!

they both ought to be horsewhipped for their behavior in this clip... Stupid conflit that shouldn't be there... It'll ruin the whole movie if they put much more of it in there. I WAS thinking that some conflict would be interesting, but this is way too much!

As I said gloomily, "At least we know ahead of time where all the bad parts will be." ;)Which made us both laugh, as if we would cover our eyes and ears... Hmm, it could happen...
As someone already pointed out, it's just so unrealistic for Susan to kill the Telmarine by throwing an arrow, even stabbing some guy with an arrow is unrealistic. If she really threw the arrow at the Telmarine, it would just glance off his armor. Having Susan fight is bad enough, but do they have to exaggerate things like this to make her appear so heroic?
I hate disagreeing with you (considering I respect you so much as a Narnia fan because you give some really great insight and amazing analysis) but I'd have to say that I love this argument between Caspian and Peter. I think it's sort of interesting that they are yell out insults that the characters feel are their flaws: Peter feeling guilty for leaving and Caspian thinking he can't lead. Also, do you think Peter giving Caspian his sword will be more powerful after this?

Honestly, if I was Caspian, I would have wished I had never blown the horn as well. If Peter had treated him the way a high king would, Caspian would of had a lot more respect for him.
Also, the reason our emotions can be like a roller coaster in this film is because everything that is good, is REALLY good, and everything that is bad, is REALLY bad.

I do think Ben as the character of Caspian plays him well (of course forgetting the age thing)
Susan in the night raid scene throwing hours seriouly wtf that is so not Susan the gentel.

There have been SO many clips from PC released, I'm wondering what Disney is thinking.
I showed my dad the clip where Lucy sees Reepicheep, and he said, "Your grandpa would have loved that."
So, Peter and Susan were left at the train station or got lost at Cair Paravel, and were replaced by Susolas and ... ???
