I think the English translation of the title of this Janice Wei Lan Vidal version is something like "It Doesn't Matter".

And yes, this is almost an exact rendition of "Au Soleil" by Jenifer from her French album.

While I don't have the lyrics in English or Cantonese, I have them in French LOL. It doesn't seem altered, so the content should be similiar.

I have no issue with covers, I do wish I didn't get confused while singing along though. But that's my fault, not that of the artist.

Originally, the French title was "Au Soleil" which would be a rough English translation of "In the Sun".

That's because I think she was singing 無所謂 in Mandarin (Wo Shuo Wai) instead of Cantonese. If you listen to some of Janice's older works, she likes to mix Canto and Mandarin together in her songs a lot, like in her other song "今夜你不會來"

Anyway, I think it's because she doesn't have good Canto or Mandarin so she has a English accent while singing it~
