Airbending is based on BaGuaZhang, one (in my view) of the ultimate martial arts, the thesis behind the art is to become wind/tornado/hurricane by a series of movements, start off by learning the 8 steps with the mother palm then progress onwards, Jet Li (the greatest Martial artist) is a master in this art!

Ok for those who need an answer, so far what i can clarify by looking at their forms, which they could atleast show some better performance, but i think its a souther style of kung fu, probably mok gar or choygar, but all i can conclude its that it looks southern, because they use alot of close range techniques in their forms.
