it depens on how experienced pilot you are. On our 4#6 is everything original, but if you are a beginner, you should have spare rotor blades, canopy and maybe landing skids, but they're not necessary...
@FidoVsetin Alright thanks for the two replies, I have a Lama2-1 that I started out with and bashed around quite a bit, now I can fly it very well. Hopefully thats enough to fly the 4#6S
@speedstakerguy Hi mate, have you bought the 4#6s yet? Because I was thinking of buying it too. If you have is it good? Fast, stable etc.. what would you rate it out of 5 stars. Thanks, Michael.
@MrMickle28 Not te 4#6s, I decided to buy the 4G6s lol, it is stable but its very hard to control. It is very responsive. 5 out of 5 stars. I only wish I could fly it though, its hard to keep my orientation. right now I can only hover with the nose facing away from me and to the left. I broke the feathering shaft screws from one crash and im waiting to buy some feathering shafts lol
@speedstakerguy I just decided, and ended up buying the walkera 4#6 bell version. It is very fast, responsive and a good choice to move on from a coaxial helicopter! Thank you for your advice :)
You could work on small scale electrical powerline with that kind of hovering... awesome flying, but I undersatnd the complexities of trying to land on one skid, lol!
Have spent 4 days trimming my 4#6 I can hover but need plenty of input. The heli seems to suffer from TB effect. If i move forward or use the rudder it TB's. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
@tjcarr70 try fiddling with flybar angles to balance heli,,give the swashplate a good shake with elevatorstick before take off ,,this always works for me
Nearly there on my choice(all i need is the money now!! jaja) . Thanks for the info earlier. Where did you get your heli`s? Sites please!!! Thanks, will hopefully post a video soon of a hover with the Ufly.
looks like that heli is trimmed perfectly. havent yet decided on this on or the ufly. hows the forward speed on th 4-6? well done on the hover, bet its not as easy as it seems.
As you say, the key is well trimmed heli... Well I think that for outside flying is UFLY better, I have both of them and 4#6 is more like coax... Very stable and also very reliable... UFLY is more like big helis (maybe because it is :D) slower reactions, but in forward flight faster and stronger... If you have enough space to fly, and you have at least a little flying skills, take UFLY :) if you want "kind" heli for indoors, take 4#6... :)
I don't know, there's nothing so special about that... Heli needs to be well-trimmed, it's the first thing you need to do (if it flies left, trim to the right etc...) and then you just need enough space to training, it's about very light corrections... good luck with flying :)
Yeah my parts are at least 1 week old, ive replaced the main shaft twice just from it wearing out. Some people say maybe something is binding and not spinning smoothly, causing lower run times so im taking the whole thing apart and cleaning and oiling the bearings. I gave up on it and got a 4g6, but because its new its super quiet and spins up great, just have to relearn everything flying that one now.
so which motor, ive had mine for 3 weeks and it still has tbe, maybe for a few sec I can do what you do. was it brand new? using a throttle curve if so whats your settings. I can never manage to keep mine at one height at all, it goes up tp fast or drops, ive even messed with blade lengths. check my vids and you can see my attempts at hover
hi, I've seen your "hover2" video, and I think that the heli is ok, mine too still needs little throttle corrections... Mabye the batery voltage can be dropping a little, other reason can be because of the space you are flying in, there can be air squalls and swirls from heli itself... Mine, when we recorded this video, had spent maybe an hour in the air, so it is really new...
I can't believe they can create a heli this small with a variable pitch tail rotor....sooooo awesome. And it's yellow!! I'm gonna get me one.

Sorry, another question lol. Does the 2401 TX trim as well/accurate as the 2402 does? The 2402 has 1% increments trims...

Nice, is that the old WK-2401 TX? Does it work with the newer 4#6 model with the 3-axis gyro?

@speedstakerguy
hi, yes, it will work with every 4-ch Walkera transmitter (2.4 Ghz)

omg, how can you do that? My 4#6 always drift left when it lifts up. It cannot stay in the air like co-axial.
