  • Where'd you get her? :)

  • Wow, definitely wolf there, such a beautiful creature definitely looks like she can be a handful. She seems to get on well with that German Shephard :) Gad look at her go. Probably wondering why you're so still when she runs all over the place

  • I hope she comes back when called >.> goddess knows my dogs don't!

  • she's beautiful! you can really see the wolf in her! by the way, if i got a wolfdog, how much and what would i have to feed it? and if possible, can you tell me if it needs to be walked more than a normal dog (e.g. a labrador).

  • @lugiametagross162 The higher wolf content, the more likely they won't be able to do very well with kibble, as they need a lot of protein, though most all dogs would do better with a proper raw diet than with kibble. Mine eats a lot of various raw chicken parts primarily (organs are important in addition to meaty bones), but occasionally she gets some beef, or during deer season, she gets her share of venison.

  • @lugiametagross162 I also supplement with fish oil gel caps, eggs, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, fish... and whatever happens to be on sale, ha. In the past year I have decided to give her Taste of the Wild (High Prairie Formula) kibble once or twice a week for good measure, but the downside is that she has to poo a lot more with kibble, it's harder to pick up, and it smells waaay worse than with a raw diet (oh, and sometimes it makes her gassy as well, which giving vegetables will also get you).

  • @lugiametagross162 As for walks, she is very high energy and can pretty much run all day. Fortunately, now that she's 3, her energy has been a little easier to manage for awhile now, but up until she was 2 or so, it was about impossible to wear her out enough in one outing for her not to pace around whining in the evening wanting a second walk. But, I still take her to parks for an hour or more ~5x during the week and long walks/skateboarding around the neighborhood on the weekends.
