  • What's the singer's name?

  • CATS MENS

  • This song = Nyan Cat's ancestors?

  • At least the boy with brown hair knows that it's funny.

Excelente. Parabéns!

  • If you listen closely at the very beginning, you can hear him say meow.

  • The kid on the right is awesome for being able to hold it together. I so would not have been able to.

  • I think I finally remembered the lyrics!

  • I liked the part where they said meow.

  • @AgentSoz That has never been funny, and never will.

  • @Peteyftw207 I wasn't trying to be funny. I was stating which part I liked the most. Problem?

  • @AgentSoz Troll. And no, I'm not mad, bro. Just fed up with dumbasses like you. And we all know that I'll be successful while you think of dumb 'jokes' at you computer for the rest of your life. And I guess that makes you, how you say, Forever Alone? >:D

  • @Peteyftw207 Let's do this methodically. I'm not a bro. I'm sorry you don't appreciate my sense of humor, that's your loss. Who is "we" and what is "successful?" If by we you mean you, and by successful you mean acquiring a job, then have fun with successful. Many people are. Also, if you're so convinced you'll do better than me, why did you bother your wonderful life by replying to my comment in 11 minutes? And thank you, I have friends. :)

  • @AgentSoz 1. I wouldn't call it a sense of humor if it isn't funny in any way...

    2. "have fun with successful"? Try "success" or "being successful". :)

    3. Usually when you're in a conversation, you reply asap. But what am I thinking, what would YOU know about conversations?

    4. The theory pertaining to you having friends can't be proven, as those so called "friends" could have easily been paid to pretend to like you.

  • @Peteyftw207 1. Well, I'm amused.

    2. Should have put "successful" in quotes. This is what lack of sleep does to me.

3./4. Am I seriously arguing about this with someone? This is ridiculous.

  • @AgentSoz 1. Nobody with a real sense of humor is.

    2. That... that would still be incorrect.

    3. You are quite ridiculous.

  • @Peteyftw207 1. I'm sorry for them. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy my 7 thumbs up...

    2. It's a way of speech.

    3. Thank you. I've been practicing. To be honest, I really don't blame you for calling me out on the original comment. :P I'm bored and sleepy and freaking out over Sherlock, so... cheers for that.

  • @AgentSoz 1. You'll take pride is 7 measly thumbs up?

    2. An incorrect way of speech, nonetheless.

    3. Okay... if you agree with me than stop arguing...

  • @Peteyftw207 Did I say I took pride in them? I'm just going to stop. This is getting annoying.

  • I never knew I wanted this in my life until now.

  • Love dthe music...great :)

  • MEOW <3

  • I am in love with this, i cannot stop singing it

  • Does anyone know who these two boys are? Or if they're still singing?

  • @StarbirdXXX Hyacinthe de Moulins (blond boy) and Régis Mengus. Only Régis still sings.

  • @bokdante - Awesome, thanks for the information. I really appreciate it.

  • @StarbirdXXX It's a very famous french choir called "Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois" (Little Singers of the Wooden Cross) The boys are probably still singing.

  • Would it kill the blonde kid to smile?

  • @enzo275 Actually he's maintaining performance decorum; Dr. Zes, my old choral teacher, would have been on the brunette's case for smirking too much through the performance.

  • @caliscribe That sounds strict! It'd be hard not to smirk to this song. Especially when you're making a whole crowd laugh like that.

  • @enzo275 That's the point. He's not supposed to smile. Anyone can smile at something funny. It takes real talent to keep a strait face when meowing in public.

  • GAYLOOOOR FUCKER!

  • I love that "Meeeow" at @1:38 and the other one @1:50 ... hahaha so funny!

  • Somehow i really like this!!! Omg, so classic and beautiful!

  • The Duetto buffo di due gatti ("humorous duet for two cats") is a popular performance piece for sopranos. It is often performed as a concert encore.

While the piece is typically attributed to Gioachino Rossini, it was not actually written by him, but is instead a compilation written in 1825 that draws principally on his 1816 opera, Otello. The compiler was likely the English composer Robert Lucas de Pearsall, who for this purpose used the pseudonym "G. Berthold".

    -Wikipedia

  • Our women ensamble sung this about 2 years ago. Couldn't hold a straight face! These boys are good

  • OMFG MY friend sent me THIS link???

  • I am learning this duet right now. I have yet to find one that is as good as this to learn from but, sadly for me, there is a whole section missing from this duet.

These boys are fab, don't get me wrong, but I question why the choir director cut a whole page?

Does anyone have inside knowledge? thanks.

  • @ElveraLerner I would say because it works. It was plenty of work for the boys (and the director), and it featured them. The music "did its trick" for this concert. There's lots of other pieces to sing, too.

  • @ElveraLerner I would say because it wouldn't have fit.

  • did i just sit through this whole performance :/

  • jajajja...genialll!!!

  • Maravilhoso!!! :))) Parabéns!

  • lol,nice.what if i join you..woof.woof..woof..

  • @Immilzub: De dark-haired boy is named Regis Mengus. He still does opera and stiff but he's a baritone now. The blonde boy's name is Hyacinthe de Moulins. I think he doesn't sing anymore because I can't find him

    Anywhere on the internet.

  • The boy with gold hair should enjoy it.

    /watch?v=1WZonn4d98M&feature=channel_video_title

  • ummm

  • This 'duetto' was composed by Rossini who was making fun of all those sopranos who couldn't carry a tune. Rossini was a genius who retired from composing at the age of 33 'to live life'. He was an incredible gourmet and created a couple of famous dishes today known as 'tournedos Rossini' and 'canelones Rossini'. This is an extremely difficult piece to sing and these two boys have sung it beautifully. Loved it!

  • Que tanto miau é esse?

  • MIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAU

  • The two boys in the video must be about 28 years old by now. Does anybody know if they still have singing careers ?

  • @jane8fred Only Régis Mengus.

  • @bokdante Hi, thanks for that. Where can I hear him? What sort of music is he performing now? Again, thanks for the info. All the best, David.

  • @jane8fred Hi, he's now a baritone and sings Opera in France. You can find some videos of his performance in the opera "Carmen" on Youtube. Bye.

  • @bokdante Hi, thanks for the info. I saw the video of him, glad he’s doing well. All the best , David.

  • is the boy in 0:26 charlie sheen?

  • Good voice of cats.

  • soloist (boy soprano):

Hyacinthe de Moulins (the blonde boy),

Regis Mengus (The dark haired boy)

  • hahahahaha why would they make them sing like cats?!

  • PUUUURRRFECLTY FUN AND OUTRAGEOUSLY FUNNY! At the same time these boys really showed a unique ability to capture pitch perfect singing quality!

  • Ca me donne des frissons tant c'est beau

  • i got goosebumps @ 0.47

  • anyone know what happened to these kids?

  • @bettyx1138 Search in the Internet: Régis Mengus / Hyacinthe de Moulins.

  • @bettyx1138 I have been reliably informed, that they are living happily in a cat sanctuary. All the best David. :)
