  • Well!!! I guess I won't be going to my interview this morning! smdh

  • thank you so much for posting this!

  • Wow! I was about to go on an interview with them this morning. Well, not now. Thanks for this and your comments. Caring to share really counts!

  • OMG!!! I am a former employee of Softrock Inc. I justed googled the company so I can speak with the payroll dept. on an issue. While on Google, I scrolled down and saw a YT video on them. OMG!!! Was so upset when they fired me for my leads being so low. But hay, KARMA is a bitch...

  • Wow i just applied for this online but its called Soft Rock inc now. Yea I am not happy at all after you apply they re direct you to some late 90's flash page that is suppose to "Explain" their company, and yes the position I JUST applied for was an Administrative one. I want my information trashed that I sent them, I wonder if there is a way that I can legally request that.

  • I just got scammed out of half my day by these JERKS. I emailed Action 9 to do another new story on them. If that doesn't work, I'll email every news station in CFL until they are shamed out of Orlando. The job search is hard enough without these clowns wasting people's time.

  • Here goes my 8:45am interview for tomorrow morning!! pretty organized scam must i add!

  • my bf applied. its bs.

  • I just left that company today... that place is total bullshit

  • I am excited to see Softrock and its slimeballs being put in the light. I am a former employee who is still trying to get paid funds Softrock fraudulently withheld and has refused to answer any of my questions when I was still working there!

  • Thanks Action 9. I was just getting ready to apply. Is anyone else in Orlando hiring for some real jobs. Please none working for a king or a red headed clown :)

  • Just contacted by these folks by text first then e-mail. The text said "Based on your resume, you match a job I'm filling. Register at jobnab.com and we can discuss it if you're interested." The e-mail said about the same thing but added I needed to register first. I didn't fall for it. You can't even enter their site before they want personal info. Why are they still operating?

  • I am so sick of getting screwed over.

  • they said they are hiring for people to call applicants to finish applications they started on careernetwork and ask them if thy want to further their education as well... so u mean the job ads on careernetwork are not real? woooowww

  • oh shit and i just applied :(

  • Wow I was got Scammed! I was scheduled for an interview with the Softrock company for 2pm. I am soo glad I decided to do a little digging before I go for an interview. Thank you soo much for posting this!

  • I got the email today so I went to the website and applied....I uploaded my resume and watch that stupid video at the SoftRock site. How screwed am I??? Does anyone know what to do now or is it hopeless????

  • The jobs they post are not a scam. They say upfront that they are careernetwork. They aren't selling information of people applying at softrock. When someone applies on careernetwork they call in to verify their application, and while doing so are asked if they are interesting in furthering their education. If they are they then sell THAT lead to schools in the area. Every job at softrock starts in the position of verifying the application and generating leads. It's a real job, but yes commision

  • @Tylith Yes, its a real job but it has immoral implications, and they are underhanded in there attempts to hire people, bait customers information, and turn around to sell it. The companies don't last long, and they go under within a year, so either way I would not work for them. I interviewed with Three Stars media, and was angry when I came in to interview for an administrative assistant position only to be told I start at home as a telemarketer. No thanks. They are wasting people's time.

  • They told me I would be getting calls from people who filled out an app on their Career website. I will verify their information to submit for their job. Then ask them if they want to continue their education if they do then I give them a number to call. They then talk to an education specialist to find out what school works best for them. I am suppose to start Friday. Not sure if I should now !!!!

  • This is just sad and immoral to exploit honest people looking for an honest legit job. The ways of life in these times seem to be synthetic, watered-down or downright fake. There is no substance in most of the elements today's world; only in small diminutive amounts would you see or feel something absolute, or genuine. As time pass it seems like it get's worse; things are a lot different than they were in the 80's. Have to stay optimistic though even in this feigning country we call America.

  • @blain147 Wow! that was very profound

  • I just got a call from them she asked me to get on the computer and well I was actually googling them....needless to say I just hung up and saved myself the trouble!

  • HOLY SHIT I JUST GOT SCAMMED. I was suppoed to train tomorrow at 2p and was even trying to put my husband on and he's A NEWLY RETIRED ARMY SUPPLY SGT. thank you for putting this up because they are still doing this.

  • this is a HUGE scam do not work or apply with this company!! I worked for them for about a month or so and then I found this is and it all made sense!!! if you see any job postins with job nab, johnson and armel, net staffing, and etc run the other way...they never forward your applications on if you say no to furthering your education or that your already in school they end the call and your left with no chance of getting a job!!!

  • @ashleysmith0114 Absolutely true. I worked for them too. SMH

  • what!!!!!

  • I went to an interview for Three Stars Media, which was run by the same company. I had a bad feeling after the interview that they were just looking for telemarketers. All they stressed was being the best cold-caller, and their stupid football social club. I saw through the BS.

  • They also go under the name of Johnson and Armel or J@ A Staffing. These people have GOT to be taken down for duping job seekers out there. Please help in getting these scam artists off of job posting sites. Everyone who has been taken in by them needs to keep complaining.

  • i work for this company now.and im glad i saw this.now everybody that was in the training class with me knows about it.and now we are about to get there asses!!!

  • JobNab is part of this...WATCH OUT....

  • Thank you for posting this....... I had a job inteview scheduled for this company on Monday and now they can drop dead.

  • Trust me this is a scam. I got scamed by them as well. All they want is your information so that all of these crazy colleges can bug the hell out of you about returning to college or on line college courses that are not accreidted, or what about a grant? This s%^$ is so insane.

  • i had an interview this Thursday. man that so messed up. please be aware everybody

  • i work for the company without complaint

  • was about to have an interview with them so glad I found this! thanks!

  • @ajwconsulting doesnt matter cause they already got your info, its basically commonplace, this is how all the giveaways and prize things end up making money, you sign up to get something for free, then they sell your information and make 10x as much as the prize is worth

  • oh Shit, they offered me a job today, i start training tomorrow.....i feel like a fool

  • I got a little fishy as soon as a text message came to my phone, which is how I first heard of Job Nab. Seriously, who TEXTS someone randomly on their phone about a job board? It's obviously just to get people's personal info to harass them about "going back to school" or whatever. I've gotten calls like this so often the past few years. I never answer them but they DON'T get it. And good luck using the do not call list. I've complained about 4 or 5 scammer numbers to little avail.

  • I almost considered signing up for Job Nab cuz it sounded like such a great deal. Who WOULDN'T wanna have to stop searching for jobs and let the jobs come to THEM? of course, it's another one of those bogus websites where you gotta SIGN UP to view the "jobs." come on, scammers. How dumb do you think I am?? All legit job boards let u see the jobs BEFORE u decide to sign up or anything. Idiots

  • grrr...every since I moved, all I keep getting are scams, scams, and more scams.

    This is just bs.

  • Ohh! wow, i just had an interview with them yesterday. I applied for the Admin position and when i sat down with hiring manager Michelle, she was talking about being a verification specialist and working from home. Glad I saw this now, thanks for the post

  • I almost went on an interview there today so many thanks for posting this.

  • These folks are now running a website called jobnab.com. There's an entire discussion on facebook about it. BEWARE

  • Just applied for a HR job with national staffing services, and of course got an email from them directing me to the internet company website. Its still going on just under a different name.

  • omg...im working for these damn ppl i knew it! oh boy and now they want us to charge ppl for looking at our jobs...i'm out i cant do that they have soooo many ppl still working for them and i change managers ery few months somethin aint right wow

  • This company is definitely a scam... I happened to interview with them and got a job, worked there 2 days til I figured out how big of a scam it really was. Wish this investigation had been done prior to me working there in December, would of saved me a lot of time.

They had the nerve to try and get me to work there again!! Emailed me today offering me an "HR Position"

  • wow so funny i saw them mention Career Network cause I get 10 mesages from them a day. I guess I can stop answering those.

  • i get a lot of emails from them, they go my email from yahoo jobs. now i get about 100 spam emails a day. from schools to those as seen on tv products.

  • i Swear if i see them im going to bitch slap them alllllll! we need to boycott companies like this ASAP!

  • I was scamed by them too. I guess I didn't want to see the warning signs because I needed a job so bad .... Anyways, I worked for them for almost two weeks but quit after finding out what they did. So sad I invested my time ....

  • Me too! I just watched this ten minutes ago when my questions weren't being answered by my manager. And when I asked a pretty direct question, they abruptly switched my manager to someone else. That is when I got suspicious and did a little digging. I found this and now I'M PISSED. Like you, I was desperate for a job - I just got laid off last month. This is ridiculous!!!! What can we do?

  • OMG they are back!!!!!!!!!!! I swear the law needs to get involved they are SCAMMING SO MANY PEOPLE!!!

  • OMG!!! this is such a SCAM!!! And I am so mad that That I fell for this stupid CRAP!

  • this guy should be torchedstupid muther fucker

  • This is indeed a scam.
