I'm thinking of planting some Siberian Iris's around an area of my 1 acre pond. How close can I plant them to the pond itself? Thank you for your informative video.

I recently found some seed pods that I think are from an iris. The leaves are tall, thin and blade like, in a clump, and there were long brown flower spikes with 2-3 inch long, three lobed, staggering pods on the end. The seeds look like lily seeds but the arrangement of the pods on the spike resembles an iris. I was wondering if you have ever planted iris from seed before and if you have any tips in growing iris from seed. Thanks so much :) Amber

This is the 3rd vid of yours I've watched and my god you have such variety in your garden!! How many years did this take you???!! And how in the world you keep up with it all?? You must have wonderful soil.

I had my very own garden, my first, when I was 7 years old, 53 years ago. The "G" or Garden gene runs in my family!! I grow mostly perennials now. Someday I'm going to inventory the individual varieties I have. However many, they are spread through about 5000 sq ft. of garden beds. The soil is good. It used to be a barnyard when the 180 year old house next door was a working farm! Oh yeah!!
