boy takes me back to 1986 when i used to dig up junk,,,,dont spend 200 hundred pound on a new detector,,,,,,buy a second hand one for 250,,,not from a dealer though.all people talk about is depth...you want great discrim,,,and good pinpoint, versatility.reasonable depth, look for machines that over the years are sought after and still sell for good money.
I have that detector- found loads of coins dated from 1897 to modern decimal cash and 4 silver coins( half dollar, florin a shillin and a tanner) found around 800 coins within half a year- and im only 14:D good for 70 quid from maplin, just got a garrett 250 the other day tho so ill probs give it to my lil bro! :P
That's some bad weather up there! Never seen this type of detector either, are they any good?
The 3 shells are 8mm blanks, they could be used for Italian copy's of automatic pistols, used to have one when I was a kid, can't remeber the brand of those things, but you could buy them cheap in Belgium.
Greetings from France, and wish you luck and good finds!
@pgmdetector Is this detector any good? does it discriminate well and pinpoint the target accuractley. im going to get one soon and would like your opinion

Blank bullets. No idea what caliber. I have a spent one. The 1942 is a blank as well! See the crimped end. Bloody snow! Nice hunt!
