Scott Williamson and Adam Bradley beat this mans time in 2009 by 21 hours, backpacking unassisted with and average of 40.5 miles a day. They carried all there own food, water, and supplies.
I feel honored to learn from this guy now... he's a proffesor at my school (Liberty University) and I'm in his running class now... I'm catching "The Bug" now and he is really motivating. He has me running an ultra soon. I hope more people will pick up "The Bug" from him.
David Horton is the man! He is the real deal - not only on the trail - but in life. As I have had the privilege to meet him on several occasions and spend a little time with him the night before Sweet H20 (2009) - I have a high respect for him. As we talked that night - it was obvious that Jesus Christ was more than just an ending to his prayers. Jesus is the Lord of his life. What a runner! What a man!

David is one of my favourite ultrarunners (+Yiannis Kouros, Anton Kupricka and Scott Jurek). I love this video.

Inspiring Story...
If you get a chance please check out our promo trailer for our documentary titled, "MY RUN".
A story about Terry Hitchcock, a man who ran 75 consecutive marathons in 75 consecutive days... to bring awareness to plight of single parents.
We would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

Is that real?! I find it hard to believe Terry ran 75 marathons in 75 days being in that shape as good as his intentions may be.
