@SmileyGarrish hey shutup bitch i know what it does for your body and anyway i was just basically telling that cuz i never noticed it and technically it is the wrong one but now your gonna tell me you cant do anything wrong in the blues so yea watever
@DistortionCrazy hey jackass i havent uploaded any god damn fucking videos so y dont u go fuck ur mom in the ass instead of watching albert king videos fucktard and by the way i started the comment by saying albert was awesome and i never said u had to come in and try to talk shit to my face that apparantly is covered with zits
Ya Albert is a blues god!!!!!!! Just fucken Awsome!!!! IM YOUR ICEMAN BABY!!!!!! i I like B.B King but i dont think i have ever seen B.B play with that kind of intensity!!!
@janedoe1024 a blues player that also does that is actually bb king. Idk if you've seen him recently but he was full of jokes and was quite funny when I saw him in San Diego!
When Albert would come to the Belly Up Tavern at Solana Beach, he woulkd walk around around the whole, huge bar before his sets and talk to all his fans and we loved it and him...I'm pretty sure he played his Telecaster through a Fender , 6 x10's, Super Reverb that was miked in and the sound waves would vibrate your pant cuffs!!!
And what a showman !!!! Iconic !! And he was soooo FUNNY at times!! He loved so much joking and hamming it up with the audience !! What Blues player does that nowadays ?? I can't think of one offhand....
I notice that sometimes he flips the guitar up flat like T-Bone used to. Hard to think of two guitarists who made it "talk" better than T-Bone and the Iceman; of course not leaving out Johnny Copeland and SRV.
Albert Collins was one great true friend of mine,he was a very humble person, never forgot where he came from or how he got there. We had great times together. When ever he played at the fame Rockerfellows club in Houston,Tx he would always request that I had my guitar and amp with me, so I could play with him,if I didn"t have my gear he would tell me to go home and get it.Thanks to all of you that dig Albert he was one of a kind, peace and love:Jerry Green
@ismucf How cool! I too have met and played with some great people. It is so sad that they are now mostly gone. I grew up listening to a lot of rock and hard rock until I was introduced to the blues in 1982 after meeting a true gentleman that never was shy about where he got it all from. I believe that is why we are still listening to the blues today.
why is it that when I watch Albert Collins people are always talking about somebody in the band, I am here for Albert Collins who cares about the back-ups.
That was always a hallmark, never took things too seriously, you can hear it in his music, always jammin' out, just love to have fun!! Damn! We lost a good one when we lost Albert! I miss him terribly! His style is so distinctive I can hear it the first few notes of any song he does...no one sounds like that!
Yepp fenderman u are right...I also met him several times and Albert was indeed a very friendly person! You can see that the REALLY great musicians don't need star-behaviour, whereas some others think they are great but aren't. But Albert was/is great!
