Riding the clutch doesn't hurt the gears in anyway whatsoever, since they are inter meshed at all times. It will however wear your clutch out much faster than normal and puts pressure on the dogteeth which select the gears.

The gts is far better. Don't buy an 00' go with an 03-04, because the redline is 8400 not 7800. It makes a big difference since that's where a majority of it's power is at.

Actually 2000, 20001, 2003, and 2004 had an 8400 redline. 2002 and 2005 had the 7800 redline. So a 2000 would be the same as an 03-04. On a side not 03 and up had DBW (drive by wire) so no throttle cable.
