You can get fire cape for free! Get seeds from monsters, farm your own herbs and make your own pots...(and pick snape grass, get nests to make crushed nests etc.) mine ores, kill dragons and cut logs to make armour and rune c bow. Awmg, i got fire cape for phr33! Omg, another idea! :D Get your own barrows armour from minigame :D :D

actually, if you wanna look at it that way...

everything in runescape is free as long as you have 25 gp left after doing something.

you started with 25 gp after the tutorial (I dont know how it is nowadays but thats what I started with) so the only time that you have lost money is when you have less than that 25 gp!

@Trickool it happens to everyone... the only thing to do against it is to just do fight caves a lot so you get used to fighting jad...

the only real problem with this is that it costs quite a bit for some people and it also takes a lot of time

however, if you fail at jad you shouldnt see it as a wasted 2 hours...

you should think about the ~40k ranged exp you got there :)

...what could also help is watching a friend irl kill jad

when I was finished buying all supplies I forgot about the food I needed. So I withdrew my prayer potion offer (which is very annoying because now a lot of people say its fake because I suddenly have a lot of money in my inventory) and bought less prayer pots. After that I only had a small amount of money left and sara brews (4) were 8k each at the time and wild pies only 1k each, so I bought wild pies... btw, wild pies give 5 ranged bonus so that's pretty useful too.

@lmfaofailslmfao in theory, its possible. just use very high prayer/ranged bonus and the best bolts you can afford. the problem with this is that you almost cant use any def bonus this way and the bolts would cost a lot of money. it would be much better to get 70+ ranged first.
