  • I have POTS Too! Summer of 2010 went great everything was falling into place with me graduating highschool, starting college, getting ready to drive. Then August came and I started having all these problems and in and out of the hospital, seeing doctors and speacialists and it took them a 1yr & 3 months to Diagnosis me with POTS and I'm just so excited that it has a name! I know how you feel,I'm here for you! All Of you With POTS. Check out my blog Ciarashealingjourney.webs.com

  • Just diagnosed today...i-:

  • I'm an 18 year old male, and I have had times where I have passed out...It took them 4 years to figure out that I have POTS...I was just recently diagnosed. I feel like I can't do anything because of this...I don't want to get a job, because I don't want to pass out at work. I busted my chin open, and almost lost a front tooth (it pushed back to the roof of my mouth). All of the dizzy and passing out spells caused me to develop a lot of phobias and major anxiety.

  • I understand how you feel,im in the same postion you are in; i was dianosed with POTS Feb. 2011 an i have been thru it all that you expained on the video. It's really tuff. But i hope you get on the track of doing well. It was a great video by the way!

  • May Jesus bring you indefinite healing, young woman.

  • Also..1 out of 100 teens have it.....so it's not that rare.

  • My sister and I got POTS from our dad. Sounds like you got it bad!

    I hope you get better.

Try doing some crunches everyday. It'll help a lot, like you wouldn't believe.

My sister and I wear a heart monitor all the time to make sure that our heart rates don't go over 140 for the most part. Laughing gets my heart rate up pretty easily.

Anyway, next time lower the volume on the music. It was a little hard to hear you!

It should go away for you by the time you're 20 or so. 80% get rid of it by then!

  • I have POTS too -no fainting but just severe exhaustion and fast heart rate and blurry eyes etc-im on facebook 2... renee collins (profile pic is me and my bf)

  • @aoccoa82 wow! I would love to know what your doing. Message me on youtube :)

  • I have had POTS for about 5 years. My situation is pretty much well controlled. I can now drive for hours without my circulation shuting down or getting massive tingling in my body or my blood pressure going sky high. I 100% understand but even though I am not cured 100% I have a series of successful actions which have worked. If you or anyone wish to know them send me a message and I will be more than happy to tell you.

  • @aoccoa82 hi i have the same problem im 15 years old when ever i get up from laying down or sitting dowing everything turns blurryish blackish for 2-3 seconds

  • I'm a 45 year old mom with POTS, so I wish I could give you a hug. You are very brave and strong!

  • I have this too. Im in college, and ive missed so many days due to POTS. It sucks.

  • @musicluvr1987 I'm in the exact same boat as you. My professors aren't understanding anymore. They were the first two times I had to miss. I also missed a ton of classes last year. I got sick in February of last school year, which puts me at 9 months of being sick. I went to 13 doctors and one N.P. and finally got diagnosed this Thursday with POTS. It's hard, since I spent my junior year of high school missing a ton of classes when I had Graves disease, which I beat, and now this.

  • awwww Im so sorry Caroline I really want you to get better with all my heart

  • i was also 13 when i got sick...i know it's tough, but things WILL get better. hang in there girl! xxo

  • @radlikemad Ya it sucks :( ya i hopee soooonnn :) Thanks xoxo
