fuck u vc ! lol im from toronto and a went to a heat-magic game in miami last year and me and 20 of my cousins.uncles booed carter non stop,,,, there were 2 guys in front of us that got annoyed and moved, and people were constantly asking us if we were from toronto, lolol bu ya fuck u vc
yeah like in all sports if you wanna change place for a better contract you go, it's not a reason to booo an awesome player like just coz you dont like the way he left you...
im sort of understandin why vc left, like its not just cuz they all depended on him he knew tht, thts why wen tmac left it hurt him big time cuz he's his cousin and if he stayed probbly tmac wudnt have been as gd but he wudnt have been injured like he is now n toronto wud be UP there, then other players leave as u can see he throws the ball at antonio davis but still then wen he leaves with such ruckess or w/e ppl blame him , why? cuz he was the franchise/most dependable.
The reason teams like Toronto can never come close to winning Nba championships is because people like Vince Carter leave Toronto for another team. When Chris Bosh leaves i don't know what will happen to Toronto
1st off u just made an ass of yourself .. because you can't spell and your saying im a casual nba fan ? posters and swagger doesnt get you into the hof u fuckin dummy either does 1-11 shooting no rings no championships no hof
thats bcz ur a dumb uninformed casual nba fan lol ahaha i can guarantee from now vc wil b in the hof...chek the highlights..chek the stats....chek the posters....chek the gamewinners...chek the playoff stats...chek thhe 50 point performances....chek the swagger...wat else do u really need in a player lol ?& last but not least..chek urself...for saying he wotn b in the hof LOL
FL1P51D3 is definitely one of the true vc fans~~ ppl juz don realise how much carter have contributed to the raptors franchise....stupid toronto fans still boo him everytime he back home........vc is greeted warmly when he returned to newJersey....these are true fans...
@youcantseeshunyu thanks bro, im just trying to state my point. I attended all VC's basketball academies when he was here in TO, i definitely miss him in a PURPLE and BLACK uniform, not red, he still is the greatest Raptor. And the fact that the fans in NJ greeted him warmly shows how much the NJ fans love their former star player, true fans. VC wasn't just a TOR star, he was a star to the whole damn country. Too bad it seems like no1 here can remember those great games he had, oh well ...
Maybe y'all forgot the epic battle between VC and AI in the 2001 Eastern Semi's. It is considered one of the greatest playoff battles of all time, Google it if u have to. VC dropped around 35 all 7 games. You cant take away from the mans legend, he already is in terms of dunking. And y'all know VC has an amazing a perimeter game, the man can drop 30 foot threes like raindrops.
Man who cares if Kobe got 4 rings, he's definitely the greatest player of the last decade, but VC was the HEART & SOUL of the TOR franchise. Real NBA fans do not disrespect this man, go watch some more highlights of this guy. He worked his ASS of last season in NJ and didn't make the All star team simply because his popularity is fading. This man is like 32-33 and can still give you 20+ a night. His work ethic never quits, and don't pull the Raptors story on me ... that shit was different.
Man Fuck All y'all hating on VC. I bet none of y'all even live in T.O., Vince was everything to Toronto. He literally introduced basketball and the NBA market to the whole country of Canada. He gave basketball face in Canada. V.C. is still and always will be the greatest Raptor to ever play because of how much he meant to Canadian Basketball. VC is definitely the greatest dunker of all time, and I am not stating that from a biased state of view. He litreally is, Kobe, Lebron, and Shaq all admit.
Ya, thats why alot of people hate him in Toronto, he did all that. Then he starts to demand the president of the Raptors to hire GM of his choice, and wanted to trade the 4th pick, who was Bosh. And when the GM and President of the Raptors didn't listen to him, he then demanded a trade.
yeah, and raps just did the best selection and took Rob Babcock who just drafted ARAUJO, passing on Andre Iguodala,Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, J.R. Smith, Jameer Nelson, Kevin Martin, Trevor Ariza..,, VC was in a win NOW mode, he just wanted some help, proven players ready for the competition, but raps were thinkin about the future and you see now what it is. they´re not contenders not even pretenders.
Now VC is in Orlando traying to catch his dream. he just want to win.
@success2life Vince Carter is the define word of OVERATED in sports. Dude had dunks and he had the chance to be one of the greats but he is without a doubt the biggest CHOKE JOB in sports. What i had to go through with him missing 2 free throws in Orlando just killed it for me i knew he has noting left in the tank. I don't see Orlando keeping him if he fails again this season i just hope we see the old Vince Carter fast
vc shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence as Kobe... Kobe is a 10 and vs is lucky hes a 2 .. he puts up 15pts a game if hes lucky one game out of 5 he score more then 20 ... does any1 watch sports highlights .. hes garbage he will never win MVP or a championship...
A man is not defined by MVP or Championships, it is simply his legacy that defines him. Check this, Patrick Ewing and Karl Malone are NBA Legends and they never won titles. Does that make them garbage? What about guys like Barkley, Miller, Stockton, Mark Jackson and Dominique? These greats never won a ring. AI, Kidd, Nash, and Dirk are future HOF's, but they never won rings either. All these players are upper echelon of NBA class, but they have not clinched Larry O Brian. So what's your point?

Throughout this ordeal you've said nothing of any substance. You've gone off topic several times and resorted to personal attacks such as these. It's obvious you've expired every brain cell you posses in this. Now I recommend putting down the hash pipe and rejoining reality.
im not making personal attacks im jus saying what i can c lol i dont use many swear words or go on 2 say "ur the stupidest guy on youtube etc etc...by the way this is supposed 2 b about basketball..so the fact that u now dont mind arguing about whos more intelligent lol rather than who will go in the hall of fame shows just how off topic u really r bud aha and after i spoke of ur immaturity the rest of my post was nba basketball related while ur response wasnt...
ne wayz my bad for not knowing ur the smartest person in the world lol i wont make that mistake again...if u wanna respond 2 me just respond 2 wat i say basketball related but as of this point since u know everything lets just agree 2 disagree
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
You haven't said anything remotely related to basketball in days. I've repeatedly made comparisons and analogies with current & past players where you've resorted to utter gibberish.
My suggestion, read what you've typed, preferably out loud so you can make sure it makes sense. Get a parent to help you if you can't do it yourself...I'm serious.
wow lol wow...basketball right? here goes- charles barkley, dominique wilkins, karl malone, john stockton, and many other hall of famers have ZERO championship rings, scoring titles, mvp awards, etc...currently players such as vince carter and tracy mcgrady also have no championships, no mvp awards...however like past hall of fame inductees u dont have 2 have that 2 be inducted into the hof...
u said paul pierce will make the hof while vc and t-mac will not simply bcz he has a championship and a finals mvp...that is the stupidest fuken thing i have ever heard...i think im gonna repeating myself for..the third time now seeing as how "reading comprehension is still a problem"...paul pierce cannot keep his team outta last place if it were not for kevin garnett and ray allen...many ppl would agree with me that the finals mvp in 08 should have gone 2 ray allen and not paul pierce
however it would b disrespectful and a slap to the face to NOT give paul pierce the award seeing as how hes been in the celtics organization his entire career...ur using that to imply that he is more qualified than vince carter and tracy mcgrady to make it to the hall of fame?
an idiot once told me that pau gasol needs kobe bryant more than kobe bryant needs him....which is like saying that kevin garnett and ray allen need paul pierce needs them lol...whereas the truth is a superstar either needs a great big man or a decent all around supporting cast to win it all..i cant speak for t-mac on that since hes had yao ming and ron artest but could not stay injury free...however vince carter has had neither...

You're so blatantly wrong, don't forget it.
Letting this guy into the HoF would mean admitting lesser players. HoFs work on this principle across all major north american sports. Albeit, some sports have cut-off marks and other don't. Nevertheless, the precedent principle forces and evaluation of a player's career based on his relative performance to those already admitted to the HoF. This is the point you're missing sadly.
ur so immature man lol have fun booing vc since u have no reason 2 cheer the raps since umm chris bosh kinda sucks and spends more time on his youtube videos than practicing...and gives us nothing 2 cheer for..but yeh im not upset lol bcz i got the orlando magic to watch for this season with future hall of famer vince carter :D...ne wayz continue barking man lol ezz
with neither-not even one playoff round win...kobe bryant cannot go far without a great big man...similarly vince carter cannot go far without a great big man...and now with dwight in orlando hes gotten his first chance to win it all...and let me ask u this..if sumhow the magic do win the championship in he 2009-2010 season..is vince carter-according do u-now considered a hall of famer?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
There is a degree of discretion to be exercised here. Just as Paul Pierce isn't a shoe-in for the HoF, he's just more likely than VC; VC wouldn't be a shoe-in for the HoF if he won the championship. My argument is far more balanced than yours, and here is why: If your question is "Is VC more likely to be in the HoF if he wins an NBA championship next year" the answer is a resounding yes. Yes, he is more likely. That is what I've been saying for eons. I'm glad a parent helped you understand this
Let's let in DeMar DeRozan because he COULD BE like VC. Yeah, that's a great idea. Or better yet, let's let in everybody who wears #15, because VC wears it.
umm..COULD doesnt cut it:S i dont know what point ur trying to make exactly...many players have been said to be the next michael jordan but HAVE they become the next mj? no..similarly just bcz derozan is said to be the next vince carter doesnt necessarily mean he can accomplish that..
also i really dont know what u mean by "let me come down 2 ur level" and ur examples dont make sense for 1 and for 2 they have nothing to do with the points i made...what point could u possibly be trying to make by saying lets let every1 that wears #15 in the hof? u said pierce is more deserving as a hof inducte than vc right now bcz he has a championship...so according 2 ur point i gave u the example that robert horry is more deserving of hof than kobe because he has 7 rings to kobes 4...

I can tell by your last post that your parent went to sleep because there you go drifting off again.
What I mean by "your level" is to minimize the burden on your reading comprehension, or lack thereof. So here goes take #1745:
Championships do not necessarily = HoF entry.
Championships, along with other MAJOR accomplishments (scoring titles, MVPs etc) HELP an athlete get into the HoF. These are basic facts that you will likely refute because you have nothing else to support your argument.
this is literally my 6th time posting this same thing now..by the way a realistic number this is actually my sixth time pointing this out 2 u...paul pierce cannot keep his team outta last place if it were not for kevin garnett and ray allen...many ppl would agree with me that the finals mvp in 08 should have gone 2 ray allen and not paul pierce but it would b disrespectful not to hand the award to pierce since he has been in the organization his whole career
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Fuck Paul Pierce. He likely won't make it to the HoF. One thing is for sure though, he's ahead of the line (compared to VC), no fucking doubt. Will he get in? I DON'T KNOW. Will they let him in before VC? YES. He's got comparable #s, and a couple of things VC doesn't have Nobody's talking about Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, the Celtics GM or anything else your sheltered brain can cook up. I know you have the memory of a gold fish so I'll repeat: Championships only HELP, they dont guarantee HoF entry.
by a couple of things...again u mean the championship and finals mvp right lol ? and i know u said comparable bcz vcs numbers across the board of career season and playoff averages are higher than paul pierce's numbers...and umm everybodys talking about ray allen and garnett bcz without those 2 he wouldnt have "a couple of things" that vc doesnt lol again feel free to leave hate comments on my wall
wow man lol wow malikpa83 now ur gonna go comment with hate on my profile ahaha i love it i love it hate me plzzzzz lol try responding to what im handing out and if ur brain cant process what ur reading since ur basketball iq is so low and ur hate for vc is so high then go ahead post that shyt on my profile i lovee it brotherrrrrrrrrrr lol

My cognitively challenged friend, that was to show how out of scope your verbal diarrhea has become. We don't evaluate GMs and their ability to make trades. Naturally, you don't have a point, so I'm not surprised you brought it up.
my mentally retarted dost, what an obvious statement lol i dont know y u would bring up the fact that we dont evaluate GMs buh it was ur stupid sarcasm..by the way sarcasm is supposed 2 send a msg and/or simply b funny...urs was neither which left me confused lol and since u have in ur weird sarcasm said im right...nonethelesss u said i am right....therefore this discussion is over...thank u fellow torontonian-unfortunate vc hater...that is all
obviously not...bcz like ive said b4 paul pierce cant keep his team outta last place without an all star cast whereas vince carter was able to carry torontos crappy cast and all of canada on his bak to the second round of the playoffs while getting them within one shot of the eastern finals and last season with an even worse cast in nj just missed the playoffs while putting up great numbers.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
dude you're the stupidest guy on youtube . Honestly. You laugh at my inclusion for Paul Pierce in the HOF when he has everything VC has and more. But somehow, even though VC has fewer accomplishments, it makes more sense that he should be in the HOF. I'm bewildered, this makes no sense. Even someone who doesn't watch ball like you could see the flaw in the argument itself. But of course you can't, cause you're either stupid or sucking Carter's cock.
ok u immature fagit...listen-- how many times do i have to explain this to you...IM NOT LAUGHING AT UR INCLUSION FOR PAUL PIERCE IN THE HALL OF FAME..IM LAUGHING AT UR INCLUSION THAT PAUL PIERCE HAS A BETTER CHANCE OF MAKING THE HOF THAN VINCE CARTER AND EVEN TRACY MCGRADY...i put that in big capital letters for u..and actually the fact that U THINK VINCE CARTER IS IN HIS PRIME makes u the biggest idiot on youtube lol
n lemme put it 2 u like this...if the celtics gm did not bring garnett and ray allen to boston..would u styll make the same case for paul pierce bein in the hof while vc is not??
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
There is no absolute cut-off for a player's prime but there hasn't been a decline in VC's performance so he's still in his prime. Iverson..HUGE drop off in his production = past his prime. Anyway, its hilarious that you have come down to "buzzer beaters" to vouch for VC...bottom line: If you can laugh at the idea of Paul Pierce in the HOF you should cry at the idea of VC in it. Bottom line, VC is a great player of our time...that's about it.
i didnt say paul pierce isnt a hall of famer and thats not what i was laughing at...what i was laughing at was that u think that paul pierce is more deserving as a hof inductee than vince carter lol and by the way i didnt say "buzzer beaters" i said "GAME WINNERS" in other words clutch plays-fourth quarter efficiency- when the great ones produce most...
and i agree with u that iverson has dropped a lot whereas vc has not..however his althetic ability has dropped slightly due to his age and various injuries so he is not able to get away with things bcz of his athleticism like he used 2...he has improved his passing shooting and ball handling and is styll a great great player and an all star despite watever u say...but to say that vince carter is in his prime is pure stupidity
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
You're surreal, you cannot put anything together that even remotely make any sense.
Stats alone will not get you in, see Bernard King (he avg 35ppg/ season in the early 80s, 20ppg career). You should also ACHIEVE something worth noting, unless you have UNBELIEVABLE stats, for instance John Stockton and Karl Malone (no championships but historically amongst the best all time in their posiitions, Malone even won an MVP).
Are VC's stats unbelievable vs other players in his era? Accomplishments?
oh yea speaking of bernard king vince also beat out his single season nets scoring record in his first full season in nj..just thought id slip that in there...im done arguing with u now u said that vince carter is in his prime lol im guessing u also think that players such as allen iverson, ray allen, etc are also currently in their primes...i dont understand ur thinking but im not immature enough to try 2 explain these kinda simple things 2 u lol ur hopeless plz take it ez man
not sure about redd...but t-mac has a chance to be in the hof and gilbert has been injured for a while now but i think he could have a solid overall career if he was not so injury prone n has a chance to make it into the hof...for instance, dominique is in the hall n overall id say vc and t-mac r both better than him as invidual players despite not having made it far in the post season..making the hall of fame is not as difficult as u think...thats all m gonna say about it u have ur own opinion
The furthest Dominique ever got in the playoffs was the 2nd round, 3 times. Vince has ALREADY been to the 2nd round 3 times. So you're wrong about Vince not making it as far in the post season as Dominique.
re-read my post i didnt say he didnt make it as far as dominique i simply said him and t-mac have been unfortunate not to make it far in the post season...and by far i mean atleast the conference finals...and yea i know vince has made it to the 2nd round 3 times u dont have to tell me that lol i wasnt relating his or t-macs playoff record to dominique i was simply stating that vc and t-mac are ahead of dominique as players and since dominique is in the hof they also deserve to be in it.
vince although a great player and future hall of famer has never had a good supporting cast...keep in mind kobe has never won without an all star big man...first shaq then pau gasol...wade also won one with shaq..vince on the other hand in toronto his best big man was antonio davis lol in nj his best big man was jason collins..nottt much 2 work with now is it

Again, you're getting caught up in the excitement. I will use your own argument against you: By your logic, Michael Redd, Gilbert Arenas and Tracy McGrady make it too. They have comparable numbers. Vince doesn't have anything they don't Surely you wouldn't agree with that crap?
Plain and simple. Vince Carter was the most exciting athlete in the world to watch. He did the impossible, he dunk on EVERYONE. He was unstoppable. He simply has done things no one else has ever done, or ever will do. He made the raptors, and the destroyed them over and over on the court. He is a hall of famer, no question. And he isn't done yet, cause he has dwight howard now.
Vince is a hall of famer, so stop arguing. Best dunker ever, bar none. Hes an incredible finisher, he can shoot, has tons and tons of buzzerbeaters. He made the Toronto franchise single-handedly. So what he doesnt have a ring, theres alot of players without rings in the hall of fame. And vince has great career averages.
no doubt, vince can ball. its just his character that makes a lot of toronto fans dislike him. hes just not a loyal player and thats not good for any team. lets see how he does in orlando...
Yes i do watch basketball and no hes not he is raw as hell player he can dunk shoot fade and play deffence like i said yeah now hes old so startin to drift off but deffinitly a hall of fammer
wow ur the retarded one that dont mean shit look at his states and yeah thats last year look how old that nigga is and he still wereaks on people like thatere nothing u dont have to win championships to go to the hall of fame u dumb fuc
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I gave you 5 reasons for why he doesn't qualify.
Your explanation was "that nigga wreaks on people" ....my god.
you have to do something extraordinary to qualify for the hall. This guy started off extraordinary but never really turned into all the promise he showed. Try telling the Hall of fame committee to let Carter in "coz that nigga wreaks on people"
One of your "reasons" for not qualifying was that he "didn't make the all-star team last year".
Are you fucking stupid? Almost no player makes the all-star team every year. Even if he never makes the all-star team again, he still DID make it 8 times, which is more than many (probably most) players already in the HOF.
Shaq didn't make the All-Star game in 2008. I guess he isn't a HOFer either.
vince actually got screwed outta the all star spot he shoulda made it last year too but i totally agree with u...allen iverson is one of my favourites but he should not have even been on the all star team last year 2 b honest lol not a starter atleast
You're a fucking moron, sir. VC is 32 years old. His "prime" ended at about 30 (2006-07). You're suggesting that if someone doesn't make the all-star game every single year they aren't a HOFer. How many players in the HOF made the AS game EVERY SINGLE YEAR? Hardly any. Even if you look at their "primes", many missed making the all-star games some years.
Now go fuck your mother, and then fuck your father, you little cocksucking idiotic dipshit.
ru telling me that iverson was an all star last season? he didnt even deserve 2 b a reserve in my opinion n certain nba analysts also agree with me on that but since he was on the team im guessing u think he played better than vc last season?? vince got screwed outta the all star game last season he should b a 9 time all star lol wat dont u get...n im guessing that since lbj hogs the ball in the all star game and always wins all star game mvp--u think that specifically makes him the best?
i dont curse or call ppl names over the internet bcz its pointless lol BUT just bcz u said that a 32 year old nba player is in their prime is thee stupidest statement i have ever heard and u r a fuken idiot lol all ppl have left 2 say 2 vc fans when they shut up vc haterz or jus idiots like urself for that matter is go jurk off 2 his poster lol wow the level of immaturity...
U R A FUCKEN IDIOT FOR SAYING THAT VC IN HIS PRIME LOL if ne thign u r the "down syndromed fuck" ahhaha do u even watch games or jus watch the highlights? well i guess since u c vince carter still hitting gamewinners and hitting circus shots and posterizing centers on those highlights and dropping a couple 30 and 40 point games here n there u may think he is still in his prime and i cant blame u hes pretty good he can fool people...
lol you know as well as me that 33 million would bring your ass to orlando... besides that Vince Carter belongs in O-Town... WELCOME HOME VINCE THIS IS WERE YOU BELONG... vince is a power player and thats EXACTLY what Magic needs... if he rubs off a littlebit on any of the players the championship is as good as ours next year.
the fact that he didn't try in the last few seasons in toronto has always placed a deep but small thought in my mind that he is doing the same in new jersey...
from wat i recall they were both goin for rebounds and got tangled up and davis got called for the foul and started laughing...whereas vince got pissed off and threw the ball at him...
Vince Carter is arguably the most talented player to ever play the game of basketball. His first three years were nothing short of spectacular. The once most popular player in the league is now merely a shadow of his former self. If there is one thing I cannot respect about Carter it is his overall passion for the game. The man just didn't have it in him. When you play a professional sport you give it your all no matter the circumstances. You never ever stay on the floor, dog injuries and quit.
It was all good until the moment that you screwed it up by saying he's got no passion,PLEASE!! you are a hater like all those Raptors Fans over T.O,VC was the player who made me and a lot of people love basketball!thereforerespect him and respect us,anyway you didn't seem to explain yourself, how come his fisrt 3 years were outstanding and now he ain't got no passion?..I mean how could U do something special without liking what you do,If he haven't achieved glory,it's coz he haven't had circumst
Carter admitted that during his tenure with Toronto his talent spoiled him and therefore he did not give it his all. As a professional, it is your duty to give it your all regardless of the circumstances. You need that killer-instinct. For this reason Carter at the end of his career will be remembered solely as a dunker and never as a winner. He had the talent to rise to the top. In 2000 the big debate was about Carter or Kobe, and now Carter has fallen out of the loop.
I get your pt.anyway you just said it "during his tenure with Toronto"....for instance, this season I saw him giving all he had,he was the leader,he seemed to save his body from punishment but he was agressive most of the time,Perhaps I got over the line with my previous statement, however I think a lot of people disrespect him for no reason,he's been a gift for basketball not the reverse!
Fair enough. The point that I was trying to make was that he had such talent and he could have been among the best of best. This was a guy who would have opposing crowds cheering for him and waiting to see that big dunk every game. I never saw a time in which the opposing crowd was actually cheering for an opposing player.
Whether he "tried his best" or not with Toronto he still averaged 23.4 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 3.9 APG, and lead the Raptors to their only ever trip to the 2nd round of the playoffs. That's more than any other Raptor ever did.
You should judge a player on their output (production), not their input (how "hard they tried").
And now to elaborate on the second part. When Carter first came into the league he had something to work for. Teamates such as Oakley and and a coach in Butch Carter really put pressure on him. He quickly became the poster-boy of the league. He took the NBA by a storm and everybody knew who Vince was. All this recognition must have spoiled him. Listen I am not saying Vince is not a good player, he still among the top in the league. However, he could easily be at the top if he had the drive.
I hope some day people start givin' vince the respect that he deserves for givin us highlight after highlight over the past couple of years. He is a complete player, not only a dunker, but unfortunately he never had that sense of ambition a jordan or bryant had'/has!
well, you're filipino, and you are giving me advice about leeting a superstar fuck my mom while i fuck my dad, so i figured that's what you filipinos do cause that statement is just sick.

wha ha ha, you fucken psycho. i fucked ur mom last nite and she told me you fucked her better than me. i guess you really are a mother fucker. ha ha bitch
one thing we gotta respect about vince is that he put toronto on the map. n he brought the toronto raptors franchise a lotta respect...BUT....the way he went out was plain wrong....missing shots on purpose....faking injuries n so on..which is why the fans dont welcome him back to toronto
ill agree with you on two things. one he did put Toronto on the map. two he probly did fake injuries, but 3. how in the world would you know if he missed shots on purpose? are you Vince Carter? no you arnt. so unless he was missin lay ups id agree with you, but no.
Damn..you think taht VC couldn't dunk anymore? Are u crazy? He gots a sore ankle and the last season he made lots of dunks. You would know it if you are not only watching videos and watch some games.Vince was is and will be the best hightflyer player.

And the fact that the fans in NJ greeted him warmly shows how much the NJ fans love their former star player, true fans. VC wasn't just a TOR star, he was a star to the whole damn country. Too bad it seems like no1 here can remember those great games he had, oh well ...
FL1P51D3 1 year ago
@youcantseeshunyu Yeah, & you want to know why? Because until he was traded to NJ, he played like a BITCH. FUCK VC.
Somborac420 9 months ago
Maybe y'all forgot the epic battle between VC and AI in the 2001 Eastern Semi's. It is considered one of the greatest playoff battles of all time, Google it if u have to. VC dropped around 35 all 7 games. You cant take away from the mans legend, he already is in terms of dunking. And y'all know VC has an amazing a perimeter game, the man can drop 30 foot threes like raindrops.
FL1P51D3 2 years ago 3
Man who cares if Kobe got 4 rings, he's definitely the greatest player of the last decade, but VC was the HEART & SOUL of the TOR franchise. Real NBA fans do not disrespect this man, go watch some more highlights of this guy. He worked his ASS of last season in NJ and didn't make the All star team simply because his popularity is fading. This man is like 32-33 and can still give you 20+ a night. His work ethic never quits, and don't pull the Raptors story on me ... that shit was different.
FL1P51D3 2 years ago 3
Man Fuck All y'all hating on VC. I bet none of y'all even live in T.O., Vince was everything to Toronto. He literally introduced basketball and the NBA market to the whole country of Canada. He gave basketball face in Canada. V.C. is still and always will be the greatest Raptor to ever play because of how much he meant to Canadian Basketball. VC is definitely the greatest dunker of all time, and I am not stating that from a biased state of view. He litreally is, Kobe, Lebron, and Shaq all admit.
FL1P51D3 2 years ago 2
Ya, thats why alot of people hate him in Toronto, he did all that. Then he starts to demand the president of the Raptors to hire GM of his choice, and wanted to trade the 4th pick, who was Bosh. And when the GM and President of the Raptors didn't listen to him, he then demanded a trade.
torontont 2 years ago
yeah, and raps just did the best selection and took Rob Babcock who just drafted ARAUJO, passing on Andre Iguodala,Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, J.R.

Assassins14 2 years ago
A man is not defined by MVP or Championships, it is simply his legacy that defines him. Check this, Patrick Ewing and Karl Malone are NBA Legends and they never won titles. Does that make them garbage? What about guys like Barkley, Miller, Stockton, Mark Jackson and Dominique? These greats never won a ring. AI, Kidd, Nash, and Dirk are future HOF's, but they never won rings either. All these players are upper echelon of NBA class, but they have not clinched Larry O Brian. So what's your point?

You haven't said anything remotely related to basketball in days. I've repeatedly made comparisons and analogies with current & past players where you've resorted to utter gibberish.
My suggestion, read what you've typed, preferably out loud so you can make sure it makes sense. Get a parent to help you if you can't do it yourself...I'm serious.
malikpa83 2 years ago
wow lol wow...basketball right? here goes- charles barkley, dominique wilkins, karl malone, john stockton, and many other hall of famers have ZERO championship rings, scoring titles, mvp awards, etc...currently players such as vince carter and tracy mcgrady also have no championships, no mvp awards...however like past hall of fame inductees u dont have 2 have that 2 be inducted into the hof...
sauce556 2 years ago
u said paul pierce will make the hof while vc and t-mac will not simply bcz he has a championship and a finals mvp...that is the stupidest fuken thing i have ever heard...i think im gonna repeating myself for..the third time now seeing as how "reading comprehension is still a problem"...paul pierce cannot keep his team outta last place if it were not for kevin garnett and ray allen...many ppl would agree with me that the finals mvp in 08 should have gone 2 ray allen and not paul pierce
sauce556 2 years ago
however it would b disrespectful and a slap to the face to NOT give paul pierce the award seeing as how hes been in the celtics organization his entire career...ur using that to imply that he is more qualified than vince carter and tracy mcgrady to make it to the hall of fame?
sauce556 2 years ago
an idiot once told me that pau gasol needs kobe bryant more than kobe bryant needs him....which is like saying that kevin garnett and ray allen need paul pierce needs them lol...whereas the truth is a superstar either needs a great big man or a decent all around supporting cast to win it all..i cant speak for t-mac on that since hes had yao ming and ron artest but could not stay injury free...however vince carter has had neither...

I'm glad a parent helped you understand this

umm..COULD doesnt cut it:S i dont know what point ur trying to make exactly...many players have been said to be the next michael jordan but HAVE they become the next mj? no..similarly just bcz derozan is said to be the next vince carter doesnt necessarily mean he can accomplish that..
sauce556 2 years ago
also i really dont know what u mean by "let me come down 2 ur level" and ur examples dont make sense for 1 and for 2 they have nothing to do with the points i made...what point could u possibly be trying to make by saying lets let every1 that wears #15 in the hof? u said pierce is more deserving as a hof inducte than vc right now bcz he has a championship...so according 2 ur point i gave u the example that robert horry is more deserving of hof than kobe because he has 7 rings to kobes 4...

Fuck Paul Pierce. He likely won't make it to the HoF. One thing is for sure though, he's ahead of the line (compared to VC), no fucking doubt. Will he get in? I DON'T KNOW. He's got comparable #s, and a couple of things VC doesn't have Nobody's talking about Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, the Celtics GM or anything else your sheltered brain can cook up. Bottom line, VC is a great player of our time...that's about it.
malikpa83 2 years ago
i didnt say paul pierce isnt a hall of famer and thats not what i was laughing at...what i was laughing at was that u think that paul pierce is more deserving as a hof inductee than vince carter lol and by the way i didnt say "buzzer beaters" i said "GAME WINNERS" in other words clutch plays-fourth quarter efficiency- when the great ones produce most...

Accomplishments?
malikpa83 2 years ago

malikpa83 2 years ago

Omarcito789 2 years ago
Fair enough. The point that I was trying to make was that he had such talent and he could have been among the best of best. This was a guy who would have opposing crowds cheering for him and waiting to see that big dunk every game. I never saw a time in which the opposing crowd was actually cheering for an opposing player.

you should watch some of michael's games there you'll see it

Paris699 3 years ago
one thing we gotta respect about vince is that he put toronto on the map. n he brought the toronto raptors franchise a lotta respect...BUT....the way he went out was plain wrong....missing shots on purpose....faking injuries n so on..which is why the fans dont welcome him back to toronto
dizzi0020 3 years ago
ill agree with you on two things. one he did put Toronto on the map. two he probly did fake injuries, but 3. how in the world would you know if he missed shots on purpose? are you Vince Carter? no you arnt. so unless he was missin lay ups id agree with you, but no.
