  • The Ford Fusion Hybrid Achieves Best Fuel Economy in its class. 525 miles on a single tank 30+ miles per gallon. All on Clean Bio-Fuel. Technologically Advanced electronic instrument cluster and Hybrid Drive System. This car I definitely recommend.

  • looks luxury

  • OK US make a small, light, save car and put my seat in the middle of car so when I get hit I have a chance and MAYBE I will buy a new one.

Until then I will look at whatever any other country is selling that get good MPG and does not make me drive around with 400 + extra lbs

It is so hard to get PE=1/2*M * VV Lower the mass sooo I can get going faster, stop faster, get more MPG, and don't hit has hard.

    Thanks

  • awful, like all the american cars (exept the muscle cars of course)

i know why now why american cars aren't selled well in europe :)

  • The Ford Mondeo looks much nicer, and the grille on this one is a bit overdone, Ford Europe is the way to go their cars are top quality economical without the need for hybrids!

  • What is the point of these hybrids? Ford already produces several models globally which are about the same size and style yet with better fuel economy! Why dont they just sell these in North America, they seem to sell them everywhere else!

  • It's all about marketing. The American consumers believe that hyrbrids are the most fuel efficient cars on the road, when in reality their not. Wish the American market would adopt small diesels like EU.

  • Yeah that makes sense! I visit the US a lot and have many friend there and they too often ask why? Well maybe attitudes will change as models like the new Ford Mondeo Eco will hit almost 60 mpg and still hit 60 in about 8 seconds.

  • All the big car companies that sell cars in the US recently dropped their plans to sell diesels in the US. These car makers dropped diesels because diesel fuel in the US unlike the EU, is higher than gas, and when it comes to price (regardless of how much better the mpg is), Americans will not buy it even if it's 10 cents more, + Americans think hybrids are cool, and efficient when in reality, their NOT. The only two sticking to diesels are VW, and Merc.

  • honestly it was dreadful. I took it back after 2 days and exchanged it for a Chrysler 300.

In the UK hybrids really have bombed. One top car mags ladled them as Hateful lentil-fuelled transport for the insufferably self-righteous and not even that economical. I guess were more cynical, because we have lots economical cars which are cheaper to buy, so if they try to sell us something claiming its better, then it has to be.

  • One word: California!

The emissions standards in California restrict the cars so much to the point that they get killed when it comes to mileage.

  • Your on the wrong channel

  • I know :D

  • Lol your on insideline not FLD

  • @librano I'd be happy if he disappeared, but thats just my opinion.

  • hahaha...

  • I'm happy that is won the award for both car of the year and motor trends car of the year.

  • hehe white power

  • @nwonknu8 D.T.A.

  • Like it, looks normal.

  • It sure is ugly cheap looking rubbish.

  • You know, it really IS a great looking car. I have not been able to say that about american cars lately but ford lately has really been delivering. They probably could have put some more stylish or "advanced" looking wheels but really what matters is the quality and technology, so it's easy to overlook minor details

  • 2nd :D

  • @snare94 And you win.....?

  • looks nice
