This movie is quite extreme. Its a really great movie, and because of how powerful the images are, after the movie, it makes you think. Its a really amazing movie though. Steven directed it beautifly.

Liam Neeson, Ben Kinhsley, Ralph Fiennes, Caroline Goodall, Embeth Davidtz and all others did a brilliant job. They didn't make decent War movies since 2000 (except for Enemy at the Gates (2001) and Black Book (2006)). There's no doubt about it, this film will be a classic in decades, even hundreds of years to come in cinema.

We watched this movie for religious education in school , we got four lessons i think just watching this...i was nearly in tears...main reason i looked it up is because there's a documentary of the haulocaust on tv at the moment and i dunno i felt i like looking it up

@strong8action It is not a documentary. It is based on a true story. Oskar Schindler was a real person who saved around 1100 Jews. They made the movie in black and white for symbolic reasons. The few spots of color during the movie represent hope. Except the girl in red, she represents innocence.

Germany was a ruined econemy after the first world war. Most Germans were unemployed, the economy was in ruins, and all the businesses in Germany were owned by the Jews. Hence, the hatred. By `Eradicating' the Jews, the Germans freed up housing problems, unemployment problems and religious problems.Should have shipped all the Jews back to Israel, and massacred the Muslims. Schindler's List is real masterpiece of cinematography. Master Steven Spielberg deserved that Oscar. Liam Neeson, Ben Kinhsley, Ralph Fiennes, Caroline Goodall, Embeth Davidtz and all others did a brilliant job. They didn't make decent War movies since 2000 (except for Enemy at the Gates (2001) and Black Book (2006)). There's no doubt about it, this film will be a classic in decades, even hundreds of years to come in cinema.
The 80's and the 90's were the Best eras in film

This was only a movie, I can only imagine what the actual experience was. Married couples and their children being ripped apart. Belongings being stolen, being treated unfairly, all because they believed in god differently. The people that lived through it were lucky. May they all RIP.

Keep in mind it wasn't just the 6 million Jews Hitler was after. He also killed 8 million gypsies, homosexuals, disabled people, people he considered "unclean." And genocide isn't a new concept to history at all. They occurred in practically every part of the world. Nazis weren't born evil people. Hitler convinced normal men to commit extraordinary crimes against humanity fy dehumanizing the victims. This film is so important because it does the opposite.
