  • awww!!! they kept the english lyric in the end!!! so cute.

  • my top: france, italian, japanese

  • TheMorriskate zgodzę się w 100% X3

  • po polsku brzmi najpiękniej <3

  • if only meg was an anime looking and then she sung this song... she would be gorgouse

  • Awesome <3333

  • Japanese is so kawsi! Megs voice is so cute! Japanese is Cool and Cute turns into AWESOMENESS!!!

  • that's good! I love!

  • this reminds me of akane and ranma

  • Any thing is good in Japanese :)

  • I'm a french speaker, I love the french version BUT japanese one is the best! :D

  • the best versions are Greek and Japanese ;D

  • god compare this with europeon versions, jap one suck balls hard, polish version rulllez

  • This is just awesome... I think I wanna' watch all Disney movies in Japanese now... X3

  • Sounds so fucking awesome.

    Nuff said.

  • It almost sounds better in Japanese. ^.^

  • Her voice sounds not as deep as the English version. xD

  • lordy, Rouge the bat

    she's singing about knuckles

  • This is awsome lol

  • One of my favorite Megs along with the French and English one :)

  • Imagine soi fon from bleach singing this about youroichi instead of a guy

  • I like how Japan dubs our stuff really well, while when we get anime it's like HERPADERP SOMETIMES WE DON'T EVEN MATCH THE MOUTH WITH THE WORDS TROLOOLOL

  • @RocketHead22 Yeah I guess Japan has enough practice making anime that's why they never seem to have issues matching lip flaps, unlike the dub here... :| The Japanese voice actors are all super professional sounding too. English dubbers are hit or miss.

  • @RocketHead22 It's because it is Disney, They have to be perfect haha

  • >.< kawaiiiii *.*

  • Now all she needs is to be anime-ized. You know big eyes, little mouth xD

But I got her from Tokyo Mew Mew~

  • This version is great, doesn't have the soul of the American version, however.

  • Kute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song sounds adorable in this language

  • lol, that is just cute

  • Ok this is pretty awesome

  • The song is still great and Meg's voice here is very nice. I agree that different countries have different opinions as to what sound fits what, however this versions lacks the soulful heartache that Susan Egan's version brought to the screen. Where Susan's version has a harsher edge, this has a much softer side and seems as though it should have been accompanied by a more classical sound. Meg gets overpowered here by the Muses.

  • @xXxSiyuxXx Have to agree, no matter how much I like her voice she gets overpowered. But maybe that's how it should considering that they were trying to prove that she were wrong :p

  • Her voice is amazing! I love the japanese version! ♥

  • japanese so cute!

  • @LLtea03 just what i was gonna say

  • Kawaii *O* !

  • sing by shizuka kudo

she is famous singer in japan

  • Kawaii Desu!!! xD

  • @AvatarfanRhyleen It's just kawaii

  • Whoa... trippy.

  • its Better in English the people cant sing here lol

  • J'aime bien ^^ En japonais ça donne aussi bien qu'en français (^∀^)

  • かわいい!かわいすぎるよΣ(・□・*)

  • sweet but is doesnt sexy ;)

  • I love it, it sounds so sweet!

  • wonderwhat is says....still good though

  • @purrykitty7 It says the same thing as the english song duh hahaha

  • @456Fampire123 Yeah, the MEANING is the same, but the EXACT translation is what im looking for. And i don't understand why that's funny.

So to anyone out there who is billingual...

  • @purrykitty7 Type in " I won't say I'm in love Japanese translation" in the bar and you will see it with subs. BTW you are totally correct, when they translate the words, they have to fit in time, so the message is the same but the words are totally are different. I don't get were people think the lyrics are the same. Good luck.

  • WOW!

The Japanese voice is sexier than Susan Egan's

  • me encanta lo agrege amis favoritos oye quien canta esa cancion

  • I wouldve loved to hear Miki Fujimoto sing this. For some reason I think she's so similar to Meg

  • Ok this version kinda sucks, but the original is always better. If I were to watch an anime I'd rather have the Japanese voices than cheap American voice actors.

  • oh noooo megan voice doesnt fit at all! she shounds like some anime girl! but I really love the cant remember the backround singers!

  • @Typesick2 Different countries have different ideas of what kind of voice fits what kind of person. That in mind, I think the voice still fits her pretty well, it's still got a little bite to it.

  • oh dude she said english at the end...

  • 1:29

" Oh nein, niemals, nie im Leben nicht so" <3

  • I love this so much! Better as in german <3

  • Wow!!! It feels like I'm watching an anime, but without the subtitles!!

  • I always find the "stereotypical" voices of other cultures really interesting. Because they're so different! Meg's voice here is, presumably, a "tough-girl" type voice like Susan Egan's is here--but it's higher and less resonant, it comes through the nose a little more, whereas the American tough girl is pretty throaty and low-voiced. It's so interesting!!! (I'm a nerd.)

  • This is adorable!!

I'm going to learn to sing this. x3

  • I love thisss

The voices are soooo good. And the singers for the Muses especially.

  • remind me of Tekken wahaha

  • Why does Meg sounds like she's 5

  • @AnarchistGoth japanese women generally have higher pitched voices. :)

  • This made me laugh SO HARD when I first watched it. . . XD

  • Omg, I love this!

  • Feels like I'm watching an anime.

  • @HELLxYEAxPARTIES HAHAHAHHA REALEEE REALLYYY.. UR RIGHT Xdddd!!!!

  • @HELLxYEAxPARTIES I really agree with you ! hahaha

  • Comment removed

  • i find it wierd that its not in anime

  • So beautiful  I luv the Japanese language so much :D

  • The perfect tsundere song~ ^^

  • @AmerikoTheHero Hahahahaha xD I thought the same the last time when I watched this movie xD

  • so bad...

  • Kawaii!

  • Its super cute. Hahaha, not terrible considering the total difference in pitch from the English version. I love it though.

  • Japanese & greek mythology ♥

  • Wow !

  • esta hermosa la cancion y suena taaaaan dulce

  • Does anyone have the lyrics for this? Please?

  • The Muses' voices sound amazing in Japanese :)

  • try the polish version, it's cute too :)

  • Im japanese but i have to say that I hate that version. You should listen to Polish one (to me its the best of all) and chinese one is nice too

  • Kawaii ♥

  • Try out the greek version, you will love the voice!

  • Tsundere :)

  • This song is beautiful but in Japanese... It just got more beautiful!

  • this voice HAS to be Ayumi Hamasaki.

  • @MirrePPP Actually, the Japanese voice actor for Meg is Shizuka Kudō :3 But I do agree, they do sound similar.

  • I swear for a moment she sounds like serious Rika from Higurashi XD

  • Isn't it kinda hilarious that the entire thing is in Japanese...EXCEPT THE LAST LINE! Lmao xD

  • Meg's voice is so cute in this version, LOL.

  • wolę polską wersję :D

  • Ra, I love her Japanese voice!! In English, her totally obnoxious voice distracts me from the character, but in this, the dub fits, and I can really appreciate the song.

  • @smalltownfangirl28 I think the English version's voice actor has an unique voice that makes Meg stand out more from other Disney characters..

  • does she really sing "i wont say im in love" at the end?? is that japanese or am i just stupid? :)

  • @21karo12 yes she did

  • @21karo12 Wow, if you hadn´t said it, I wouldn´t have realized it, yeah, thats very common in japanesse songs =D

  • apparently 192 people hate Japanese Music... or just this movie...

  • just amazing..:)

  • pretty! i like both english and japanese! this song is awesome either way.

  • Who else thinks the 5 muses sound like guys in this version?

  • So KAWAII X3 I Love this Version *W* !!!!

  • I like the Japanese better than the English C8

  • Jaki słodki głos :D:D

  • EEEEK THANK YOOOUUUUUUU IT'S MY FAVORITE LANGUAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont fell the gospel-ness from them :(

  • This voice sounded SO familar to me and I looked it up and sure enough the voice actress is Kudo Shizuka. You may know her from the third Japanese ending of the anime Dragonball GT (the song is called Blue Velvet, go listen to it because it's damn good)

  • Japanese is such a funny yet awesome language :D thank you anime! :D

  • japanese love to add english in their language o.o

  • @SSLanimefangirl2 that's called loanword and can be found in any language.

  • i like song japan and thailand version !! ^^v

  • it sounds so good in japanese :)

  • who is the singer??

  • @haruxxxchan

    Shizuka Kudo(工藤静香)

  • I like the Japanese version better than the English.

  • @penguinMycoco Dosen't matter which language is used a great song is still a great song.

  • Wow her singing voice in japanese is just.... amazing <3

  • My best friend sang the lead vocals for this song in their choir concert... i was in another country at the time i would have paid anything to see her sing this live :(

  • i LOVE this song! in any language.. just win... so win... although this one doesn't have quite as much punch as the english one..

  • im sorry, i just had to watch this when i saw it was in japanese(Even if i dont understand it) I Loce how Japanese sounds.

  • lol gyaru xD guess i'll have to stick to covering the english version since i can't pull this off :P

  • lol at black girls singing japanese. :)

  • :) the last phrase is cute!

  • KAWAII XD

  • she has such a cute voice

  • tsundere!

  • japanese is just a cute language :3

  • @leckerxchan1 rofl when she first talked i was like OH ISH SO CUTEE :D

  • @thisallie OMG Ikr!

  • @leckerxchan1 IKR!! X3

  • This is so lovely!!

  • Utsukushii MEG

  • Comment removed

  • Meg sounds too sweet in this version, I prefer her English voice...but still nice <3

  • O .o

I like this version just as much as the English ! xD

  • also, thumbs up if you were singing along obnoxiously loud in english!

  • thumbs up if u clicked on this video even though u didn't kno japanese

  • 187 people STILL wont admit they're in love. :]

  • omg! i love this version too! :D

  • Maybe Hades made 100+ accounts to dislike it.

  • this just makes me smile :)

  • it's nice, but it doesn't have the stubornness of the english.

  • @Animerockchic That's because english is Non-Tonal and Japanese is Tonal

  • @pspdude1000 excuse me? since when is japanese tonal? lol

  • @Fitchmountain Since before you were born,It has actually the same syllables.

  • Meg sounds way too innocent, and her voice isn't powerful enough for the character. Still, it was fun to listen to. :)

  • haha i was singing along in English dying laughing. the Muses xD

  • This song is made for japanese. this takes it to exceeding levels of cuteness.

  • B.E.A.U.T.F.U.L.! I love japanese :))

  • OMG...I like japanese version more than English or Spanish version *¬*

  • i can spot the weeabos. They are so blatantly obvious. o.o

  • this song sounds great in japanese.

but to be frank, this japanese voice just doesn't suit Meg's character - way too immature. American's version is better because that's how Meg should sound like.

  • @lionqueeninlionking I actually prefer the Greek version, not just because of Meg but it suits the whole movie altogether.

  • @lionqueeninlionking check out the greek version too :)

  • cute!!!

  • 勁好聽啊!!!!! :P

  • this is over 9000 times better in japanese, omg.

  • Love it!

Vocaloid needs to do a cover of this:

    Megara: Luka

Muses (first appearance, left to right): Lily, Meiko, Miku, Gumi and Rin.

I mean seriously. Meiko and Kaito did "A whole new world" from Aladdin, and this fits Luka so well! It needs to happen. like. now. <3 ]

  • @mrl00bill00

Uhm , you realize they didn't speak English either, don't you? And they weren't gods who lived in the heavens either. Also, spoiler alert: Zeus wasn't real and neither was Hercules. Idiot.

  • @HeyThatRhymes90 And you do realise ofc that you are arguing on a disney movie FOR CHILDREN! lol do find sth better to do dear PLEASE! xD And fyi I have only seen the movie in Greek :)

  • @mrl00bill00

I could only understand the end of that and am quite certain that even if that's true (which is dubious), you'd still not have commented on the version of this in English which just makes you a dumb racist.

  • @HeyThatRhymes90 hahahahahah google translations don't work very well for you, do they?? xD hahahahahaha

  • @mrl00bill00

My friend is Greek. He translated it for me. I don't know what google translator is nor did I use it. I know your English isn't that good but if you can speak it, why bother with Greek? I'm not Greek, you realize? The point is that you're still an unintelligent girl who is a racist.

  • 超好聽的拉!

  • love the greek version

  • good. but she's no Susan Egan

  • Dude he won't get it even if you say it in Jap

  • Comment removed

  • I love it but i honestly think that the greek version is the best by far! :)

  • WOU!!! I love Japanese version, Meg s voice sounds like others anime character. So girly and you know little childish, but not too childidh XD

Well, I can't explain it :DD

  • @Kielostar They do that thing to their voice that makes it sound a little bit baby-like (as in, like baby talk). I think it really doesn't fit Megara because she's supposed to be jaded, not trying to be cute. (I usually don't like it in general, though.)

I like how the Japanese language's syllables fit the rhythm of the Muse's lines.

  • @chaowalker :)

  • The song sounds so good in japanese, I just wish the singing was a little more powerful to suit the song!

  • HEY GUYS~

Voice of Meg from Hercules = Voice of Lin in Spirited away
