i seriously love natsume yuujinchou!!!the manga and the aime are both awesome..it's the most beautiful anime in the world!!!i really look forward to season 4!!i wish it has more matoba ;)

January cannn't come fast enuff. And if you go on ebay you can get it on dvd! have season 1 and 2 plus a cd. Waiting for season 4 so i can get 3 and 4 together with a cd.

I love series' like this. Natsume is a character many people can relate to. Not necessarily his gift to see youkai, but definitely the feelings of not fitting in, loneliness, and themes of finding acceptance within yourself are all relatable to many viewers. I liked how they wrapped up this past season because the last scene in particular showed he is emotionally growing and understanding balance between real life, and youkai life. It was sweet and enjoyable.

I'm sort of apprehensive for the fourth season - or rather, its end - since it's unclear whether Brain's Base will bring it back for a fifth season. :( Nonetheless, Natsume Yuujinchou will go down as my all time favorite anime. I've read up to Chapter 56, and there's a lot of veeerry interesting developments, including a somewhat deeper look into Matoba, Natori, and Natsume's parents and friends (and these are just the recent ones). I cannot wait for my favorite chapters to be adapted.
