  • So heartbreaking. Human life have lost it's meaning and value

Lord have mercy on us please we beg

  • sorry i dont have lyrics......if you speak kreyol I guess you could transcibe the lyrics yourself. If you don't speak kreyol I can't see how they can be helpful.....unless you want translation. If you speak French you should be able to understand most of it.

  • lirycs please (in kreyol)

  • @Jarabacoa k I agree with u thx for helping my country but why does ur people hate my people, why we are killing each other for stupid things why ? Now I think that we have to stop fighting coz it's been too long since we are fighting for stupid things like skin color and other stuff so man let's stop it n let's start a better life and a better friendship

  • Yo li leu pou bagay sa fini II

Those things must be over we are fighting for stupid things coz if those things continue there will be a war between HT And DR .......

  • We gotta blame France and Spain for all the problems between both countries. We were one island and they divided us. Now we got this issue going on and they dont do much to help us out.

  • i have a lot of haitians friends that live in the DR, but they are more from the Upper class

  • dominicans are loving people! we were the first to help haitians during the earth quake! its time to change haiti's,dr constitution and make both country one single nation.

  • @Jarabacoa1100 HEEEEELLLL NAAAAWWWWH! do you know what that would mean!?

  • I dont know why the dominican govnt doesnt build a great wall on that border as we did here in the USA!!!! great problems need great solutions!!!!

  • @MariaRaqueLopezDiaz great solution maria.....peace, love and happiness to you too.....why not just do what the nazis did and start a mass extermination?

  • whats the name of this song?

  • Pouki tout bagay sa yo?

    (Why all these things?)

  • This comment board is very informative. I stayed in the Dominican for a month. I love the culture. I aso love the Haitians. I love Haitian art and music, more though. There definately is still a strong predjudice agains Hatians in the DR. Pleae anybody who has more information speak up.

  • More info on prejudice? Think Israel vs Palestine; Apartheid; Slavery; Australia's stoleb generation - power, politics, race, class......but mostly money.

  • 11% african, the rest is mixed, now stop talking shit you dont know about. Stop googling information, pick up books instead, not everything in the internet is credible.

  • All this debate about percentages etc is really petty and I think is actually a form of racism. Who cares!?

  • all this negative propaganda is petty.

  • what negative propaganda? human rights abuses? Dominican military robbing haitian workers when they cross the border? Expelling black dominicans because they look Haitian?

  • yes, that is negative propaganda. When did you ever witness black Dominicans being expelled to haiti? How about a video showing haitians crossing the border to steal cattle? How about haitian thugs crossing the border to commit crimes and being able to flee since they are illegals? How about showing how we helped haiti the most when the earthquake hit, or how the haitian president stayed in DR since he had nowhere to go?

  • haiti is my country i love it when i first went there i cried because people we did not know were saying can i get you somewhere and reaching for our bags it was so scary but it was fun we played jumprope and had parties i did not like to eat the goat though everything else yeah i love the 7 up though

  • Don't worry my people, just walk in GOD's commandments and he'll deliver us.

  • 2:43 - Christ is Black

  • HAITI, i love you .

  • what is this song? its really nice!

  • The song is from a Haitian group sung in kreyol - name of song "Pouki tout bagay sa yo" - "Why all these things?" - as why conflict, division argument - religious, political etc

  • whos the group?

  • from one and the sooner we realize this and stop trying to segregate ourselves, that is when us as a people and race will be better off regardless of what counrty on a map you reside in!!!!!!

  • What race is that? (Nice blanket statement).

I doubt any Dominicans would say that he's the same demo as a Haitian.

    No way.

  • Both Haiti and the Dominican Republic share a common ethnically African heritage.

  • Although there is a stong African heritage in both countries Dominicans are 73% mixed and only 10% black. Haiti is around 99% black 1% mullato uite a difference.

Not to mention the fact that Haiti invaded the DR twice with the intention of taking control of all Hispaniola and implemented a cruel regime over the DR. During the occupation many whites fled to Cuba & Puerto Rico.

To deny DR's Spanish ancenstry would be as wrong as to deny Haiti's black ancestry..

  • I wasn't denying the DR's spanish heritage - I was merely pointing out that it's the African heritage that they share in common. And you would think this commonality would help unite them instead of dividing them. Haiti's invasion of DR was intended to help free the DR's slaves as well. The initial invasian of Hispaniola was also cruel - wiped out the entire indigenous population...

  • I wonder how is that the Dominican African Heritage Speak spanish and the Haitian speak Creole and French,,,if they were ethnically the same,,food, music, culture, language might be similar,,,but it seem that somehow is not,,explain that one to me,,cause i want to know

  • Haiti was a French colony. Dominican Republic was a Spanish colony. Both countries imported slaves from Africa to work on their plantations.

  • And where did the Slave owner in the Dominican Republic went do they live anywhere? Did the Spanish side have more Slave them the French side, cause we know that in Haiti, they all got kill of when to Cuba,,,what happened to the one in DR? the white? what happen to them?

  • I'm not an expert on history but I had the impression the French did not settle in very big numbers in Haiti.....just enough to run the plantations, whereas the Spanish in the Dominican Republic (all colonists including plantation owners with slaves) mixed with the Africans and produced the present day mult-racial Dominican people. Most Dominicans today are a mix of Spanish and African....a small minority are pure African and a small minority are pure European.

  • You must be an ignorant person to assume that all the white in DR die out mix with black, those white are the one in power in DR today and there are about 2 million of them, there is the large mayority of mix race and black, to embrance once blackness and not the others is kind of a double standard, dont you think? when you have people here that more likely never visited DR saying that we are all black it sound ridicules, right?

  • The Spanish slave owners had more slaves and they raped more black female slaves. hence the reason why a lot of dominicans are mulattos.

Spanish slavery was the worsed compared to any other european nation.

  • That's a nice video. Although I do not like to see people posted negative stuff about Haiti online, but I feel this video because I had never thought that Haitians going to DR were to face all these tragedy.

  • elfapo are ashamed to be dominican then dont be i will never said to anyone that iam ashamed to be dominican what going between haiti and dr is not are fault. i hope that one day a haitian look me the face and dont feel like i onwed him something becuse iam white dominican when that day dr and haiti would a better place

  • thank u,since was a kid I was always told that my great grandfather was haitian and that I should always look at then as family, here in the U.S I have met a lot of haitans and they are very nice to me,I think is time for the dominican goverment to boost human rights and that will be the only way we'll become a better country, this video leaves a true and painful reality. This is one of the reason whay I would feel ashamed to be called a dominican..:(

  • you are not dominican

  • boosting human rights in what way? we are talking about two diffrent countries here. one poor country an another poorer one.

  • the efforts here are not to boost human rights - human rights are universal and are a given - the challenge is to see that these rights are protected (which they are obviously not in the case of both countries) - Monitoring the abuse of rights lets people know what's happening evn if the human rights abuses continue - It does expose the corruption involved...

  • Thank you for this beautiful video. This video makes me proud to be an Haitienne from Haiti. I Love You Haiti Cherie; you are still beautiful to me even when dominicans spitefully use us. Just as Jesus Christ said Father forgive them for they know not what they do. If we Haitian don't forgive the dominicans trespasses neither will our heavenly Father forgive our trespasses. Dominican people from DR I forgive you in the name of Jesus Christ.

  • im dominican but im dark skin meanin i come from african descent nd if yu come from african descent well me nd yu have the same blood floain cus my ancestor where slaves just like yours nd they split us apart nd spain took half the island nd da french did too but never did it forget the mind cus i kno where i come from i was born in dr but come from african descent like most dominicans nd most haitians dats y i would never discriminate..i love mah ppl

  • would you mind telling us what the name of this song and the artist are?

  • The name of the song is "Pouki tout bagay say yo?" - Why all these things? - referring to divisions - mainly between religious groups. I don't know the artist sorry but I can try to find out.

  • yeah please! if you want to email me the mp3, that'd be great, too. message me!

  • can you message the song to me too? i can't find it. thanks!

  • I will try to find the song in digital format. Please send me your email address.

  • thanks for posting the comment.

  • I am not taking anyone's side. If I have left any offensive remarks on this site I am sorry. For a long time people have been writing constructive and civilised comments on my site, so I have not had to screen every comment. It's only been now that DOMINICAN100 and GWOZAGO have decided to post insults to each other - I really don't have time to be monitoring their crap every day. If anyway has any intelligent comments please pots a comment.

  • One of my comments to him was to seek medical help which you seem to agree with, but does not excuse you leaving his vile message on your page.I see on your page has comments pending approval so i don't expect to appear on your page.

  • Kentjesuita you said"i have deleted all comments that are offensive".dominican1000 posted this comment "I will become the president soon ot later and exterminate each one of them" what part of offensive do you not understand? your comment "i haven't logged on to this channel for a long time"i must have just have been unlucky then my comments which were in no way offensive lasted less than 24 hours.Or was it because i was been critical about dominican1000 offensive remarks?

  • hay pobres..but u know ellos se tiene que

que dar in haiti..DR no es como the USA ..u know DR es rico..

  • I got a problem with the timing of your comment. Why haven't you previously writen something similar urging them to stop, the way you did? How would you react if someone was putting AUSTRALIANS down? We HAITIANS have been emotionally, culturally, spirutally, economically, psychologically, racially marginalized, lynched by whities arund the world, notably AMERICANS since the early 80s, on accusations that the AIDS virus originated in HAITI. No more insulting our intelligence. We gonna fight back

  • I haven't logged on to this channel for a long time...I was not targeting just your comments but all the insults...And the best way to answer back to insults is not with more insults - that's why I have deleted all of them because I did not know the comments were getting so desperate. Anyway dominican1000's comments are so lame that I would not even take him seriously. Dominican1000 cual es tu problema?

  • Can people please stop posting offensive comments on my channel? If you want to disagree, use your wit and talent to make an argument, but don't resort to verbal and other violence. That's the root of all conflict - intolerance and desire to dominate others.

  • why are hispanics more racist then white people?ricans dont like dominicans cause they are to dark, dominicans dont like hatians cause they are even darker, yall must really hate yourselfs, get it together... your not much diffrent than each other atleast i can say african americans and white people have come a long way. how can you think you are better then anyone if you are talking the same junk people talked when we were considered unevolved in our thinking

  • Your are confused and maybe you don't know your geography it have come accross many dominicans that don't even know where haiti is. Well it is on the island of hispanola we both occupy is and we were a country first. We have problems yes but they can be solved and having your own distant cousin turn into your Iago. Will be your own demise in the end. The haitian diaspora will lift up haiti you will see.

  • God judges a mand (dominican1000) by how he treats those the poor. Oh and dominican1000 for your information haitians ar well more educated then most dominicans. Not being hateful but a fact. Why is it haitians hold moreprofessional jobs as a diaspora then many dominicans. outside of the island of hispanola.

  • Hispañola was the name forced upon the island by the Spanish. Before the Spanish arrived, the island was called Quisqueya! I belong to the Taino Quisqueya island, not the Hispañola. I don't recognize my island by that name. The real name is Quisqueya. Just like Puerto Rico is Borinquen. Just stop it cause you look like a complete idiot. Can't believe you are dominican. Well you probably never been there so what are you arguing about? And ofcoarse, if you aren't Quisqueyano, then you are not DR.

  • The USA is a bankrupt country...however it is oddly enough ...the most important economic engine in and for the world....

No country will survive if it does not build for itself comparative advantages....

The DR could quickly implement a tax strategy that would require a relatively small amount of time.

The DR can become energy independent...and produce far more sugar cane ethanol than it uses...and can export to the US...

Tourism no. 1 in the world is possible....

  • I'm from panama, but I live in United states. In Panama there are alot of dominicans and haitians that live there. But I always wonder why dominicans and haitians can't have unity. It's sad, because both countries are next to each other. I have love for haitians and dominicans, they're my brothers and sisters!!

  • Let's do another Haitian Revolution, and get our money back from f---ing France. Yea, they are to blame. I'm Dominican, but I am QUISQUEYANO, meaning from the whole island, not just one side, but the whole island. Let's get this money back.

  • I just dont understand why Haitians continue going to a country where they are discriminated against, treated less than animals, and where anti-haitianismo is deeply rooted in their society.Haitians will never be respected.what a shame.

  • For the same reason that Bolivians go to Argentina, Dominicans to Puerto Rico, Europe and USA, Portuguese to Spain and Spaniards to to France, ect. ect....

  • we got too many haitians in dr...i feel bad thou..

  • Congrats, this is a very good video that present the reality of the country. I hope the video will help us as a country to move forward.

  • En verdad que los jesuitas han hecho por la República Dominicana y Haití lo que nadie. Ojalá que les sea tomado en cuenta.

  • Some speak out and there is still hope! Beautiful video, great pictures, and excelleent music choice! Chapo ba. Pouki tout bagay sa-yo?

  • The poor of Haiti and mexico try to escape so that they can feed theire children. Ask yourself! Who has ruined those countries, the poor? UN, bring bread into haiti not bullets...Kent! merci pour cette video...

  • Exelent images! so real!

  • Haitians try to find a way of life in the DR. for theire families back in haiti, only to be exploided there. Peace keepers with guns? another way to ruin a good people...

  • mexicans try to find a way of life in the U.S. for theyr families back in mexico, only to be exploited there. civilian border keepers? another way to ruin good ppl...

  • Its a shame La Española is a very rich and beautifull island with people living in poverty. Is the song in creole languaje?

  • U.S. Spain, France are rich now because we ( D.R and Haiti) are poor now! .....

you have forgotten the history of the americas?

  • Totalmente impresionado y satisfecho por la calidad del repotaje.

Nos alegra muchísimo a mi y a mi familia saber que sigues recordando a Haiti. Un saludo desde Reinosa.

    Julián y familia
