  • You fucking libs make me sick. You are so selfish and greedy that you would rather collapse the whole system than fix it even though you don't deserve it in the first place. Unlike you, I actually worked hard for what I have and use my brain instead of standing around and screaming like a whiny bitch for handouts. And now you want fucking socialized healthcare on my dime?? Why the fuck should I work my ass off to take care of the lazy and stupid? You are pathetic excuses for Americans. FUCK YOU

  • President Obama says he has read Ryan's proposal (29 seconds into video). Wow, glad he had time to read it.

Too bad the President didn't read the fine print of 2,200 page health care bill before allowing Congress to ram it down the throats of the American people. That health care fiasco is a downright abortion. And 26 states are suing the federal government over it.

  • @DwightSimpson You should be pleased your president wants to look after the people of America with a decent medical Bill instead of CUTTING medicare and medicaid which just basically says fuck you if you're sick

  • He didn't seem to have a problem with ssi when he collected it as a teenager. What a disgusting piece of garbage for wanting to deny others.

  • Tax the rich and elite in this country, don't take out your poor spending since Reagan on the backs of working people and the elderly!

  • Stop voting RepBullCrapican Insurance Co Welfare is $360B a year Why wasnt that on the table?? Oil Co Welfare $141B a year Why wasnt that on the table??

People turn of the Fox Noise and get a clue the RepBullCrapicans only support those who earn $1.7M yr or more, NOT YOU!!!

  • One day 04/07/11 7:29 PM

One day all the evil thing the gop is doing the day they die the judgement starts.

There are two places haven where jesus is and Hell where the devil is at.

One day they all will burn in hell.

  • How many times do you want to get screwed by the GOP and then send them back again? Americans can learn something from Egypt, get out in the streets people.Nice guys finish last remember that. And they don't care about the middle class and the poor.Get It!

  • i'm against throwing SS to the wolves on wall street, but ryan is right, something ELSE has to be done and fast. and fuck wall street for the time being. and also, these same repubs didin't stop bush when he was raiding the SS fund to help pay for the war in iraq.

  • LOL @ "Let me put a Liberal hat on for a minute"...That is HYSTERICAL! Gotta love the attempt at journalism......

  • here is a little secret for all you drones that want to attack insurance companies....YOU CANNOT SUE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MORONS!!!! be happy if someone fucks up that you can bring about a lawsuit!

  • I hate the "as a percentage of GDP" argument. Why is there any relationship between military spending and GDP.

It just seems a way to couch the discussion.

  • It's a time line perspective. It's another way of demonstrating cost comparisons without having to factor for inflation.

But focus on the real substance of the discussion between Ryan and Matthews on US military spending and its relationship that allows Europe to spend less on their own defense because we subsidize their defense.

  • Subsidize makes its sound like we only a pay a tad, when we pretty much foot the entire bill

  • Where's the outrage from those retiree teabaggers who kept screaming, "leave my medicare alone!" at townhall meetings???

  • How's your hearing? Pretty good? Decent? All there?

Ryan says if you have Medicare now his plan will not change your coverage at all. If you are under 55 it will change. Everybody over 55 it will remain the same. This is to cover people that have PLANNED to have medicare and have budgeted appropriately.

So maybe those "retiree teabaggers" are over 55 and have sharp listening skills.

  • Another ridiculous comment.

  • Chris Matthews is a GOP talking point spewing machine. Why do people refer to him as liberal...he's a beltway moderate, that flirts with the left at times.

  • Seriously? Can I return with you on your space flight to whatever planet you came from? I need an adventure.

Chris Matthews is a former speech writer for President Carter and the chief of staff to Tip O'Neill. Carter and O'Neill are closet Republicans too. They just pretended to be Democrats their whole lives to get elected.

Honestly though, space flight, you, me, let's do it.

  • Beltway.

  • paul ryan is a lying scumbag

  • as opposed to Obama?

  • I actually agree with this guy. He seems like a reasonable Republican, which is so rare these days, it's almost become an oxymoron.

  • I hate Republicans so much. How can a person be so ignorant as to vote for on of them?

  • The Democrats are worse?

  • No, Republicans are worse.

  • Ridiculous comment.

  • Which one and why?

The only reason I find this Republican to be reasonable is because he pays attention to the budget, which is becoming more & more problematic.. However, I don't think cutting people's healthcare is the way to make up for it.

Especially when we can cut defense budget, capitol punishment, War on Drugs, legalize and tax Marijuana, and all kinds of other programs that serve no beneficiary purpose to society.

Medicare provides a very beneficial contribution with 94% approval.

  • @IFloridaMotocrossI The same way people are stupid enough to vote for that poorly-trained monkey you call a president.

  • @IFloridaMotocrossI You listen to Paul Ryan....and hear "ignorant".......??? you fuckin wacky fella

  • @catndryer

I was referring to Republican voters. Try reading the comment before you reply to it.

  • @IFloridaMotocrossI I read it. My comment stands. You might want to have your meds adjusted.

  • The cons have been eroding medicare for decades and are now saying it's bankrupt, useless, and should be privatized and run like health insurance. If the cons would have left medicare alone it would have been more than fine today. The repub cons show they value death, destruction, and war over health, education, and social values. Priorities.

  • Really? Prove it.

  • @Lynx787 Not even slightly accurate. Get your facts straight.

  • @fuelfreak108 You want facts? Look them up with the computer you are using. President Bush unveiled a $2.77 trillion spending plan Feb 6, 2006 that would slash healthcare and education spending, and that would enact deep cuts to scores of other federal programs, while boosting the military budget. It would shave $35.9 billion over five years from Medicare along with a $4.5 billion reduction in the Medicaid budget.

  • @fuelfreak108 Bush also proposed saving $14.7 billion by eliminating or significantly scaling back 141 government programs (all poor to middle class), including food stamps, vocational education, and housing benefits for the elderly and the disabled, while making tax cuts for the wealthy a permanent fixture.

  • @Lynx787 Damn right. The rick are shouldering the VAST majority of taxes in this country while the poor pay nothing. Unacceptable. Entitlement programs are not a right and are completely undeserved. So quit your bitching and learn something.

  • @fuelfreak108 The poor pay nothing? You are the one who needs educating. With this technology it is much harder for people like you to rewrite history as the information is readily available. My facts are straight and you are the one who is bitching about entitlement.

  • The difference between President Obama and the republicans is that he actually READS and KNOWS what the issues are.

  • @JTlovesDexter

No no. They know full well, but they simply want to obfuscate.

  • What exactly has he done in 14 months? Nothing!!!
