Surely, and with no doubt in my mind, this guy is the most underrated acoustic guitar genius currently playing. He is second only to Michael Hedges.

I had the pleasure of meeting Michael downstairs from where my girlfriend was living. They were lugging in guitars and I asked if I could come in and jam. They obliged and we stayed up all night playing. Michael's Carbon fiber guitar sounds incredible. A great human being and guitarist.

Leo Kottke plays a Duane Allman tune called "Little Martha" so I don't think it's a Kottke theme. Michael Gulezian started with the Takoma label founded by John Fahey (also featured Kottke and Peter Lang). Michael G's slide work is also incredibly uniquely Michael G. All of his albums are killer but his shows are memory making events.
