Catching bass on fly rod

Fake! The guy already had a bass in his boat that he hooked up to the end of this pole. He just threw the bass in the water and let it swim around for a while so it looks like he caught it on a fly fishing rod. This is obviously a scam.

Yes as long as you paint the kayak olive, similar to an alligator’s colors. This will make the gators present think that you are a big gator and stay away from you. And, if you do come across a truly monstrous gator, he will be more likely to mate you than eat you (which actually may be worse).

A small popper like a size 4 can be fished with with a stiff 4 weight or a 5 weight rod with no problem. When you get to the larger poppers, move the rod size up to 6 or even bigger. This is just a rule of thumb depending on casting abilities, wind, etc.

the world record is 26, the 32 was an unofficial catch. the basses name is dotty and it was snagged in the side(un official) it died and was found about 6 years ago.

i tried this with a popper today and my friend out fished me very badly with his spinner bait i only caught 1 bluegill and we usually catch tons of bass with spinners but i couldnt make it work with a popper any tips to help? i used the same technicue as u

the best way to keep his friend from out fishing him with a spinning rod is to make him use a fly rod.
