Aah....but the first time I heard this version played in a dance club, the crowd went wild for a 'brand new' artist. A new generation was introduced to Miss Peggy Lee. She was cool all over again. (But there is no way to top the original.)

I totally understand liking the original more (it's tough to beat). But that's the thing, I don't think Gabin tried to beat the original, just add a new (bossa nova esque) spin to it. I personally think it's an amazing mix. I particularly like the added piano.

I don't really think the remix does this song any justice. The techno drums, especially, just take away the kind of feeling you're supposed to get from a song like this. Sorry, it just doesn't do it for me.
