  • Because I have been able to split completely from a man who took advantage of me and held control over me emotionally for over a year...If i had not been able to split so well I would still be in an awful situation.

  • @grymmspixie19 I never heard spliting referred to in that way. I always thought of it as a polarization of love and hate. I hate you dont leave me. Black and white thinking being that you tend to situations as terribly bleak or terrific and wonderful.

  • Splitting is so painful..but in my case it's helped save me as well if that makes since.

  • @grymmspixie19 How did splitting help you? I think that is the most damaging and painful experience us BPD have.

  • But why do you sound like we're demons?

  • @PrincessDisaster Umb, cuz, I think of myself as a demon. And to the rest of the world we may seem like crafty instead of crazy people. But I see what your saying.

  • I like it"D

    makes senes

  • Another good video, I can see myself a lot in the description xx

  • @MsScarredSoul :D Thank you

  • you have a really good insight :P

  • i like this vid, I can relate myself, XD

  • I've watched videos by a few other BPDs and it seems they very quickly form very intense friendships. To me this is baffling. It usually takes me months of knowing someone to be friends. Some people are more extroverted and act friendly too soon, which makes me uncomfortable, and they seem to say things, ask me how I'm doing, like they're doing me a favor so they can press me into a friendship. It's like a pretend friendship, when my real friendships are more casual & gradual.

  • @qwexas I guess it seems like some people decide to make me their friend and go through this routine, "put the moves on me" LOL. It's usually if fate sticks me with a friendly person, and their friends want to make me one of them. I didn't realize resisting might hurt their feelings, but I'd choose that over the alternative. I don't consider them real friends. My real friendships sneak up like obesity. I get friendly with an acquaintance until we're friends, no intention or formal declaration.

  • @qwexas friendly means nothing. and critical means nothing. Remember that. you gotta wait a bit, then after they're starting screw you over you can see it, and drop them like a rock.

  • @composer63 Which kind of friend would screw me over? And how?

  • @qwexas Imagine this! you meet a girl on line. you get a date. you on the date, and on the first date she wants to have sex with you.

  • @composer63 Does not compute. This is very unlikely to happen. I would stick to my original decision, and if she doesn't like it, I don't care. I would feel bad if she is upset, but I would get over it soon enough. If she is understanding and compromises then we're fine. If she can't take it then the relationship can end.

  • @qwexas well, wait untill you meet a borderline girl. Just say "hey" and they'll think, "he just said hey too me...! :)" then she'll fall head over heals really fast for you. Its sad cuz sometimes the men are narcissist, who abuse and keep the women as a possession forever (mentally forever).

  • @composer63 I probably instinctively avoid BPD people, and/or they instinctively avoid me. We wouldn't be compatible.

  • @qwexas actually, you probably met one or two and you just didn't know it. there are recovered BPDs. there really actually very easy to live with. have you ever met an abuse victim?

  • @composer63 Have I met an abuse victim? If the statistics I've heard are true, I've met several. But I wouldn't be able to point them out. I don't usually spend a lot of time with a particular person, or observe the same person in multiple contexts, so I don't many people very well. I do notice differences between people, and there are some people that I prefer not to be around, or to have limited contact. Emotionally unstable & some other kinds of people make me uncomfortable so I steer clear.

  • @qwexas well, wait and see living in abuse are likely to be BPD.

  • @composer63 Yeah that's true, thats why I dont date anymore, I am serially attracted to narcissists no matter what I do and I just dont believe in love the way I used to, I'm completly broken from my last/most severe relationship with a narcissist (although he was always pulling the i want you/i cant be with you game, and i was just always clinging, i mean sure i felt like i hated him as much as i loved him but even when i hated him i wanted him...) relationships aren't worth it anymore to me...

  • @MizMizzy well, you just gotta get away. nothing you can do for them. do you know samvaknin? if you don't, hwe has a page on narcissist which is pretty good. I feel for ya. god bless
