Well, all of CCR's members are from El Cerrito, California, just a few miles from Oakland so they never were a "southern" band. JF has had a lifelong facination with New Orleans and that shows up in his songs. In his last DVD he says, "I can truthfully say I left my heart in New Orleans". But, boy, he sure sounds down-home. Regardless, it's the best music out there coming from the best R&R voice in the biz. Let's keep on lovin' it.
