I have said this many many times, music was so much better back then, women were more beautiful and classy, men were more beatiful too. It just was a better time. women today look like sluts, and the men don't look much better
@ jbecker re: girls......and not taking a shower. The 80's were fun, like I'm sure the 70's and the 60's were for those experiencing that time of their lives! :-)
@jbecker8082 thats today's pop music for you. Doesn't matter what you're singing about as long as you look trashy and your bass sound does all the work.
I agree, this is very human/beautiful. I'm 35 and that's what girls did when I was younger. 2 in one night etc. There's even more of a street walker look now with the younger girls. It's more of an animalistic culture than human.
What happened is that they have a NEW album out in about 2 weeks called 'Credo' and have been touring NOT STOP and making music since the 80s to NOW :-)
@dimpsey3 Really?...I'm a child of the 80's and I knew Prince wrote alot of songs for other people, but did not know he wrote this one...thanks for the info!! :)
@warpathHB ...He didn't. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were commissioned to work on the "Crash" album, and subsequently wrote 3 songs on the album - this is one of them (they wrote and produced it)
@warpathHB ... no problem. You're like me, I love to find out tidbits about music - but I like for them to be pretty accurate. This was a notorious pairing (HL with Jam/Lewis on this album) because of the issues they had in the studio...but the pairing helped to broaden HL's chart success since it also made the top 10 R&B charts.
This was written and produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Who also created most of Janet Jackson's hits as well as the SOS Band, Cherrelle and The Time (from Prince's "Purple Rain" movie.).
I am not so sure about what you are saying....probably you met girls like that but some of the today' girls are oldfashioned and still like the 80's style....and have unique weapens to look pretty and sexy!!!

@andrew2882ful This classic first came out between 1987 or 1988. I was in High School back then around 14 or 15 years old but can remember this like yesterday growing up back at home when my parents first got cable tv and when the old BET played r&b videos 24 hours a day.
it has a R & B feel to it because it was produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis who were part of the "the Time" and was part of the the "Prince" entourage during the 1980's
@oramikleepunk This tune was arranged by '80s-era super-producers Jimmy "Jam" Harris and Terry Lewis, who were, as u can read above, members of "The Time" featuring Morris Day & part of Prince's musical entourage during the 1980s. Jimmy "Jam" and Terry Lewis collaborated with numerous acts, but are best-known for making a then-ordinary Janet Jackson into a pop superstar, starting with her 1986 monsterously sensational hit album, "Control."
Global warming is a myth. Trying to regulate it will only result in higher taxes, more unemployment, and more businesses fleeing the state. California has enough problems. We're fourth in the nation in taxes; we're in the top five when it comes to unemployment; and we're the worst when it comes to a 'friendly' business environment.
And what to we do in response?
We vote 'No' on an initiative that might help us economically.
This is one of the best songs of the 80s. If you listen to the lyrics, it kinda makes me sad...but the song is so very honest: "im only human...born to make mistakes" that line is so powerful!!
this one by Human League has Always been one of my Most Favorite songs of theirs. :) thanks for posting this video. :) Long Live the 80's! so glad I grew up when there was actually Good music worth listening to. :) :)

Ahh, fall '86... great memories. This song, and Janet Jackson's "When I Think of You" dominated the airwaves in NYC back then. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were on a roll at the board! I think this still holds up.
Oi sandrinhovideos!
Another great music! This speak to the quality of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, as well as The Human League. Excellent song! Beautiful but yet disturbing. The lyrics the song is the meaning of betrayal, a man who cannot control his desire but yet he can make it forgiveable because of the great melody and delivery! Music is great art!

@corapetie, hello. I can remember the afternoon when I listen "Human" the very first time. I was studying for a very hard issue about Electromagnetism (University) and suddenly this song began, for the very first seconds I knew that it was a new and nice song. Yes!. The radio disc jockey said: "this is a nice song!", and I was agree, but I added: "and this will be a top hit".

@outofgrac3 The same thing that young people today are thinking ("thinking'? are they really?) when THEY buy the stuff they wear now: 'Man, this shit is fly!!!"
"Fly" being an '80s term for fantastic, cool, etc. I don't know WHAT kids are saying today! As someone that finished high school in 1980, I can certainly relate to the Human League's fashion sense.Their duds were straight WICKED 25-30 years ago! Believe it!!!

@Dimentinalslingshot- Techno, rap & hip hop are terrible TODAY and anywhere after 2000 but the 90's were good. Im not and never was a huge fan of rap or hip hop but omg the early stuff was great! The early 90's was a really fun time for techno & hip hop. It was fun with less ego to it. Im all about the 80's but I definitely crank some Naughty By Nature, Boys 2 Men, Mariah Carey, Ace of Base, Black Box, Cece Peniston, Snap!, Tom Cochran, Michael Bolton, TLC, SWV, Seal, Toni Braxton, Janet....
you know that some 80's stuff are shite...however, there is quality here. I have played this for 20 plus years and it never does owt else but make me sing :)
@govia21 Definitely a ten..and another great song from the 80s finds its way back into my heart and life..man I miss those days and the times spent with friends and lovers in smoky backseats and on moonlit beaches...
Anyone remember this was produced by Janet Jackson's producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis? They were in the group The Tyme. I loved a lot of the songs they produced in the 80's. Like many others, I listen to a lot of 80's songs...Soundtrack to my childhood!

All constant rap and hip hop techno repetitive bullshit is... shit. I listen to 60. 70. 80 hits and bands.
A metal band said, can't remember it's name ''Y'all want a single (these times) say fuck that!

Anyone remember this was produced by Janet Jackson's producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis? They were in the group The Tyme. I loved a lot of the songs they produced in the 80's. Like many others, I listen to a lot of 80's songs...Soundtrack to my childhood!
