I love how everyone judges the worth of these pedals based on the components and how easy the circuits are to build. I think most people just care how it sounds, and if it sounds better to them vs. something harder to build with better parts, then who cares? I have some Lovepedals, I prefer them to others with similar prices, so whats the harm? Are the variations how they justify the pricing? I don't know, and I truly don't care.
"Unique sounds"??? It´s a variation of the Tim Escobedo Triple Fuzz, see schematic at freestompboxes[dot]org! And see the gutshots.. Holy crap!! Most beginners builds look better.
Many Lovepedals are variations of circuits that are well-known in the diy scene. Compare the Eternity to Jack Ormans "Son of a Screamer" and the Les Lius to the "Electra Distortion"... This company is so ridiculously overrated!!!
@Teej212 I don´t really "hate" them... I don´t even think that their pedals sound bad - I built some of those circuits.
I just think that people should know what they get for their hard earned money. PGS could add a gutshot of each pedal they sell. If the circuitboard is gooped, forget it. The builder has some crap to hide....
Finally - a useful fuzz/octaver that doesn't over do the 8 bit thing. Just ordered the Magicboy Vibe, and I think there will be more Lovepedals on my board before long.

I have one of these, and what's cool is that the subtle ring mod tones come out sounding like harmonics rather than octave splitting.

Sounds good. Like a Univox Superfuzz minus the upper octave.

That's a great sounding fuzz!
And once again, this guy is great at picking songs that highlight what each pedal does best.
