I believe there are two Planes of Existence here in the physical universe where we are the meat people you see with your eyes and a spiritual universe where we are souls, the two exist together as 1. Our soul needs this simple earthly life to grow inside our bodies, people can damage their souls by corruption here in the physical world. When we die we should have a strong and clean soul to live beyond death.
I actually believe that God knows exactly who is going to live on earth and eho isnt. Therefore I believe that our souls were pre-planned. God isn't the 'last minute' type. He plans ahead.

Unfortunately, I am not Christian and don't believe in any of the prerequisites you mention, but if the Christian theology is going to use such arguments to try to regulate Christian's daily lives, as opposed to being a spiritual guide for, these are mostly great questions to think about (I didn't actually get the dilemma about the possibility of aliens, but the rest).

Alien life forms are manifestations of the collective consciousness, this is why the number of of angels were created to the number of 'nations' (metasystem transition). In metaphysical terms there is a difference between what 'is' (noumenon) and that what manifests itself to human experience and perception (phenomenon) which is framed by human imagination. #1. No I don't think that there is alien life out there. Until there is factual evidence and proof of them then I will believe, but there has been nothing close to that so far. I have watched this video twice, and I can answer your five questions with one answer. The soul cannot be connected to the physical. The soul is the mind, will and emotions. To formulate the body, whether by spliting the cell to make identical twins or fraternal twins, each individual has a soul, despite how the physical body comes. The soul is another name for life, It's not something that mystically enters the body. Hell is not a place of eternal suffering, it is the grave of man. Take Matthew 10:28 for example "And fear not them (people) which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him (God) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." So the soul gets destroyed in hell, not tormented for eternity.

Every time we gather observations about the conditions on other planets, we increase our accuracy about estimating the conditions on other planets. Does that not make sense? If we find microbial life on a nearby celestial body, we learn that life is common in the universe.

The constraints & the vastness of the universe taken together can be used to estimate the expected distance to the nearest civilization capable of communication. 1 No. The number of factors that must be just right is huge for a planet to support intelligent life. It goes far beyond having an orbit where liquid water is available. See books privileged planet or rare earth.
2 If they did, yes, they would be part of Gods creation. I would expect them to have souls and we should share the gospel with them. Jesus curiously said to preach the gospel to every creature although He did say in the world.

3 I think you err in linking the physical act of conception with the soul so that there is only one soul per conception. Each would have a soul just as each has an identity.
4 Same error in linking DNA and the soul. DNA is a physical means to an end. A blending of DNA in the body affects the soul no more than an organ transplant would. Do you lose some of your soul with an appendectomy? No.

I would say that person is saved if either part of their identity choose to accept Christ. For 1 and 2, personally, I haven't heard or seen enough proof to belive they exist.
3. They will both get a soul, it's 2 separate people.
As for 4 and 5, I haven't studied Christianity, chimeric children or dual brain theories.
Technically I am Christian, but I believe in having more freedom in what to beileve as a Christian.
Examples: I don't believe I'm obligated to pray, go to church or read the bible, unless I feel like it.

Yes I believe in aliens. No, I do not believe they are under the same curse of sin as we are and need to restoration. I kinda lean towards the prime direct theory for them. They didn't fall so God quarantine us from them. The soul is different from the spirit. The soul (psuche in greek) is our psychological part our mind, will and emotions. I have to say, these are totally great issues. Unfortunately, I am not Christian and don't believe in any of the prerequisites you mention, but if the Christian theology is going to use such arguments to try to regulate Christian's daily lives, as opposed to being a spiritual guide for, these are mostly great questions to think about (I didn't actually get the dilemma about the possibility of aliens, but the rest).

these are questions that really have nothing to do with christianity. they state more of your perception of christianity which don't really resonate anything that i know about my religion. in addition, christianity doesn't really dwell upon the "soul" issue that you are extensively speaking of. the only hope we have for the afterlife is the promise of resurrection and restoration of humanity as god originally intended it--thus, there is no such things as permanent "soul" heaven.

That is why Arabs were leaders in Astronomy and Math and why most stars have Arabic names and why everyone uses Arabic numerals to this date. The purpose of the Quran is not to be a science textbook. It is much deeper than that. It said in the BIBLE you retard that Hell is an eternal place of suffering for sinners. I swear, atheist no more about the BIBLE than theist do. Pretty damn sad.

The soul is another name for life, It's not something that mystically enters the body. Hell is not a place of eternal suffering, it is the grave of man. Take Matthew 10:28 for example "And fear not them (people) which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him (God) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." So the soul gets destroyed in hell, not tormented for eternity.

4.) If this were the case, they would both be persons, so whether or not they trusted in Christ as their Saviour would determine the fate of the one and the fate of the other.
5.) If it is a split-brain situation, and they are two seperate personalities, then that would mean two souls. So if one trusted Christ as their Saviour, and the other did not, then that would be what determined their fate probably I believe.

Interesting questions.
1.) I lack belief in space aliens, but I do not eliminate the possibility of their existence.
2.) If aliens exist(ed), then they would probably have souls, but would they have eternal souls like ours? I don't know.
3.) Both of them. A "soul" is a person. We are each a soul with a body. The twins are both people, so they are souls with bodies like all of us.

Man does not have a soul - it is one of the deceptions of the last days. Please read Genesis 2:7 "...man became a living soul.
Your right it is Roman Catholic Dogma. As a matter of fact, the Roman Catholic Church is responsible for the deception.

Well, I'm not sure about the deceptions of the last days statement, but other than that I agree... It very much depends on what stance you take on whether man is a bipartite or a tripartite I think he is a bipartite (Spirit + bady = soul). The notion of of man consisting of body, spirit, and an immortal soul was advocated by plato and so, a helenistic idea, not a jewish one. Gen 2:7 sums up bipartite very well :) Christians often grow up with the hellenistic view erroniously imho...

I very much agree. We use different terminology, but the principle is the same. I go by the text God made man from the dust of the ground (body), breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (spirit) and he became a living soul. Also, in Ecclesiastes 12:7
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. so, again we find the dust/spirit principle. and again, "The soul that sinneth, it shall die." Ezekiel 18:4&20, also supports this principle.

So all our body parts write their own experiences to the soul but the soul does not command any body part. Although some body parts do more and others less. Hence a split brain patient still has one soul and the soul does not actually have to reside in any part of the body or confined by locality that is similar to quantum entanglement the soul is a ledger that is written on by both halves of the cerebral hemispheres.

The soul can be viewed as a piece of paper and the soul is connected to all parts of the body. There is no physical connection but interaction is possible but is one way only when the soul is trapped by the vessel of flesh. Sorta like quantum entanglement where physical locality does not impede the interaction of information.

Atheists believe we came to exist by pure accident. This is actually the simplest answer to the "existence" question. It is why atheism is a popular belief. So ask yourself, why do we have a morale code? If it was all just a random accident, why does society try to police itself against dishonesty etc.? Where did guilt come from if we all just evolved magically? Why wouldn't we just exist guilt free, doing whatever we wanted?

That is a very simple answer, and I am sure you could figure it out for yourself if you thought about it. Throughout history we have not always had the same guilts, they change all the time. Most guilts, however, relate to how one wants to be treated themselves. For example, there have been many moments in history (i.e. The French Revolution) where 'educated' people would gather in masses to witness the be-headings of other people, just like themselves

guilt is there in the sin that is committed because we have the holy spirit convicting us. God says that he will give you over to your passions. If you have sex before marriage and not feel bad about it, that is a good example of giving you over to your passions. I'm just explaining it to you, I dont want to argue. I think it is good to ponder these things. However, there are those who laugh at religion because they believe science has given us evidence against creationism and/or God. C'mon people. your way off on the split brain deal by the way.. when you sever the corpus collosum (the thing between your two cerebral hemispheres) almost in all cases the left hemisphere controlls speech AND writing aka language. the right hemisphere is never able to communicate any opinions on anything. the only thing that has been recorded is the fact that the right hemisphere can recognize objects and either draw what it sees or match a picture to an actual object.

The possibilty of intelligent design is dismissed as "irrational" although it is very logical and is evident in everything you see that moves, lives, and breaths.

I was at a seminar recently and there are so many amazing scientists who believed in God and Creation and took Biblical truths and examples seriously and literally and made amazing discoveries, inventions, and cures that we don't hear about in the public school system...

If there are two functioning living human bodies, there are two souls. Just as if two identical twins are seperated at birth and one lives in Connecticut and one in Florida, if one of them murdered someone, then by law, the other wouldn't be responsible for that, they are responsible for themselves, they wouldn't be joined to the action of killing someone in any way because they didn't do it.

even though a soul enters a body in the moment of conception, it's not as if the final product looks like it will when the child or children are born. despite the fact that there may be cells that split, if there are identical twins, two people who function as seperate beings, then they would each have their own souls.

No, aliens don't exist. The other questions are trying to find a glitch where a person could be sent to "hell" by circumstance. There is no glitch because there IS NO PUNISHMENT for sin. The punishment was taken away. You are now free to simply choose between eternal existence with the universal creative power, or not. But if you refuse to exist within creation, where will you be? In a complete absence of creation. It cannot be undone, because you have chosen to be your own God.

To use an atheist-style answer: Aliens don't exist because there is no evidence or indication that life itself exists outside this planet, let alone alien beings. Currently, only a theoretical "possibility" exists. If we learn differently at some point, then so be it. If you mean human-created robots, then no, they cannot have souls because we do not have the ability to impart a soul into our creations.

Actually, the possibility of life on other planets can be estimated by using our understanding of the natural world, including the likelihood of other earth like planets, likelihood of water, prevalence of microbial life, etc.

Every time we update our planetary models given new evidence, we increase our accuracy at predicting other planets. Every time we gather observations about the conditions on other planets, we increase our accuracy about estimating the conditions on other planets. Does that not make sense? If we find microbial life on a nearby celestial body, we learn that life is common in the universe.
