@whitestar111 I'm a huge fan of Final Fantasy but XBox is epic. The only thing that sucks about it is that most its games are FPS, the only thing they need to improve is variety of game types, otherwise its an amazing system. Oh and the fact that you have to pay for online play.

actually i just thought of one pretty rubbish theory on how the games could be connected (bear in mind as i said it's a "rubbish theory") in final fantasy 7 it is told that all planets die and are reborn somewhere else. that could be the connection. (i highly doubt it) so when the planet dies it could be reborn somewhere else and that's where another final fantasy game takes place.

And one can definetly see similarities between Cloud, Zidane and Tidus with them all having problems knowing exactly who they are or where they are from. probably incorrect but I like the theory ¦D

That's what I would guess, plus you have to remember the same guy who made Denzel, Roxas, Cloud, and Tidus is also making the characters for this game, so it most-likely has a lot of influence from past characters, either way it should be a great game.

Coin based? okay, sorry. But it is obvious that they meant to connect them. In FF7, Shinra has blonde hair. And when in x-2 he reveals himself, he says: "I will call this mako. (Lol, I forgot what it was called) We won't be able to use this now, but in generations from now, perhaps we can" ( not his exact words) So, perhaps you may be right, but it seems obvious that they were trying to connect them. (I could have sworn it was card based)
