  • Thank you William! God bless you too my friend.Peace!

  • Maybe you can explain me better. It seems to me, but I might be wrong, (in 2:23 slow motion you can see it better) that instead of taking his balance you just run through him, going streight against his strength. If so your student will have not much hope against someone of your structure.

  • I am taking his balance and also am entering with my body. Its not a fight tho. Its just me cutting him down by using my body. its an full body waza.

  • sweet!

  • Thanks Trevor! Peace!

  • I hope you don't mind a Thai Chi student asking this. How would you handle it if you have a weak right side. Will it still be affective? I'm curious on how to adapt movements for a handicap that I have.

  • Awesome! The way of expressing!

    Keep it up!

  • Thank you gerritpost! Peace!

  • Is your pupil co-operating in the fall? I mean to ask if those same movement would also bring down someone who tried to resist? Thanks and God bless.

  • The whole point of doing this is to take them down. He is not falling down because he wants to. He is falling down because I am making him with the Sayu Nage Waza shown in the video. I hope that clears it up a bit for you. He is not helping me in this he is attacking me and getting taken down. Please look up Sayu Nage here on YouTube and you can see and learn more about it. God bless you too. Peace!

  • Why it looks like he's falling down on purpose is because he knows how to fall, he have that trained as a reflex, Aikido is all about ways of moving your body in diffrent kinds of patterns combining them to suit the situation.

This might be quite heard to understand, however I hope you believe that this is not fake. Cause it isn't, thousands of individuals practise this every day, and if you do too you will feel that it's not fake. I recommend you testing it and not just for a few classes. =)

  • Thanks for all the great answers ironfist and icebane. Such nice people around in this channel. I am enthralled with the beautiful art of Aikido. I agree with you and would love to practice it......only that I am so bad with quick reflexes and body movements (even dancing) that I'd be the worst in class and that makes me pretty embarrassed......

  • You should'nt feel like that, I got my girlfriend into it and she was the only girl training with only guys and mostly middle-aged men.

She was very afraid but when she got into it it released.

If you didn't know this; Aikido have some traditions that is followed in the dojo(training hall); show one other respect and keep it happy. That's two of them and Aikido is all about harmony, all senseis that I've met are open-minded and understanding, everyone have been a begiinner, so go for it! :D

  • Agreed! Very good words icebane91. Peace!

  • You make the world a better place. I'll try it...

  • Good my friend. I am sure you will enjoy it. As the founder of Aikido said. " Aikido is for the whole world." And I feel we are all brothers and sisters here on earth and with Aikido we can all make a change in the world starting with ourselves. We must be the change we want to see in the world around us. This is a big part of Aikido for me.

  • Another nice technique. 5*.

  • Thanks stalf5. Peace bro!

  • Thanks for sharring 5*

  • Your very welcome my friend. My best to you and yours. Peace!

  • nice vid.... and much better sound quality :))

  • Thanks szuli12. Peace!

  • Can you please explain this word to me: "Taihenjutsu?" I ask because of my weak language skills. I am thinking it might be something like you are doing: stepping into the opponent, shifting center of gravity against the opponent and really using your whole body.

  • Taihenjutsu (体変術 ) is a system of movement and positioning that allows the user to adapt to his or her environment through a series of postures and skills primarily relying on dexterity, coordination, agility, and bone alignment. Taihenjutsu translates roughly to "Body changing skill," and is utilized by various Ryu and systems throughout martial arts.

  • Taihenjutsu typically depends on skills that require the user to have a fair degree of spatial awareness as well as kinetic awareness due to the constant movement and placement via pinpointed pre-cognition based on muscle memory. Because of this, highly developed taihenjutsu specialists typically develop a high degree of awareness in their environment and bodies which allows them to escape injury from strikes, throws, pins etc.

  • Excellent foot work; that's half the battle.

  • Thanks my friend. Peace!
