I have a talkbox, only thing im missing is an amp.. still need one.. so if anyone has a spare-- haha

but mine is custom made from Mr. Groove.. a guy who has been making talkboxes for over 25 years.. having them sound like Roger Trout (Zap & Roger).

My only issue is never having an amp because of having to spend that spare cash on family and bills.. But I've been researching for years and are different drivers and setting for the piano all for the talkbox

no no, about where the sound comes from ...

Your talkbox that "make" and any other talkbox..

The talkbox has a speaker inside of it, the speaker is sealed up so very little sound can escape it if any, This is why you have the tube. The sound travels out of the tube that you hold in your mouth(can explain that more) and you do not really "say" the words.. think of it as lip singing.. your mouthing the words as the notes escape the tube from the talkbox then in return is coming from piano or w/e

I've just purchased a banshee but my first talk box was a heil. Don't feel bad it took me about 4 months to realize how to work it properly. Your gonna need your heil, a keyboard, and an external amp 100watt minimum so you don't blow the horn in the talk box. Plug a guitar or keyboard cable into the output or hdphone jack of the keyboard, run that cable you just plugged into the keyboard into the external amps cable input. Your amp is gonna have a cable out line which runs into the Heil's left.

I got a roctron,dx100, fender squire 4 pa sytem as well as the the talkbox settings have been programmed on the dx100 but I can't seem to get the proper sound out of the talkbox do you have any suggestions or recommendations, I bought the rocktron used and I had it tested@guitar center,but all that's comin is the same sound when I programmed the talkbox settings so I'm just trying to figure out what I could possibly be doing wrong or maybe I got the wrong amp.

as far as the dx100 I'VE got the 1/4 inch cable connected to the output in the keyboard which the other end is connected to the in jack of the rocktron.because the rocktron has a built in amp which is why I don't have it hooked up to the pa system but the mic.the guy @guitar center told me it wasn't neccessary,even when I've tried to hook it up to the pa system I don't get no sound. the sounds of the keyboard are coming out through the tube, is that the way it should be set up? ..holla back

yea thats the way it should be set up. u use the tube, then you talk/sing into the pa system.

no the wires do not come with it. i used a quarter inch speaker cable. that cable can be used on any keyboard, connect to headphone connection.

actually u can but idk exactly how, i asked the exact question to some other guy with the axiom 25 and he had reason 4.0, so he connected it to a AUDIO INTERFACE and started using it. u can do research on it and try it out.
