My lack of god Berlinski is an infuriating public speaker - elaborate man, elaborate! Also does he imply in part 1 that Robespierre was an atheist? Because he certainly wasnt, he hated the church/political system that governed France, but he wasnt an atheist. Danton probably was a non believer, though I'm not entirely sure.
