@Anmantaku It's only a week old. With all that extra fluff when they're born they don't really need to know how to swim - they can't sink! Watch the newer video - a week later she was paddling around on her back :)
Awww, what a good mummy she is. She brings her baby over to the doctors for a checkup, but even when she's rolling around eating fish, she keeps an eye on what's going on with her baby.
Im just curious, is the mother trained to bring her baby over to the trainers or is it just natural for her to do that b/c she knows them & wanted to show her newborn to them>?. Cute.
@wow85 Aniak was trained to bring her pup over to the biologists. She was hesitant in the beginning, but through repetition and positive reinforcement she understood that the biologists were there to just take a look at her pup and not cause harm.
"Here, you take the baby for awhile! Got any more of those flip shrimps??"
