it sucks doenst t when the spine of your book falls off, now mine is in 2 partsi woudld reccomend taht you try sticking a large envolope to teh inside of your book cover to hold all of toes loose papers, it works for me. i also love how you can see teh development of your ideas in your book, its just teeming. i also with i could see your books first-hand

tape works best...then again, my sketch books are much smaller and glue is messy...
