He's gotta lead Garabgh together National team. because this man almost created the new Barcelona from Qarabagh with 85% indigene players ! I wish'em good luck and hope to see Gurbanov as coach of Azerbaijan ntnl team

Karabakh? Qarabag? Why does this team seem to have two names? You use both here, and I've seen both used for this team elswhere, it annoys me I don't know what to call them!

It's a weird thing, Azerbaijan has better teams according to league results, but they accomplish little in Europe. This team is clearly Azerbaijan's European club. I first noticed them when they beat Rosenborg two years ago.

EB/Streymur should be no problem for them either, so they should at least reach Q3.

@Lorric101 Karabakh used by russians, Garabagh used by english, and in Azerbaijan it's called Qarabag. This team was 4th in Azerbaijani league but they've shown best results in european cups in Azerbaijani football history. They were beaten in 3rd round twice by Twente (became dutch champions that year) and Borussia (became german champions that year). Now we are making fun that whomever Garabag will lose that team will become champion of their own league )))

@atlant1987 Three names. I like Qarabag the best. Fourth qualifying round, not third, but I think you knew that. It's amusing, as I think Twente along with Dortmund were in the shadow of other clubs in their leagues before they beat Qarabag and went on to league glory. I wonder if the third team to beat Qarabag will become league champions?

@AzeriLeague It's a big ask for any unseeded team in Round 4, never mind a team which has to start in round 1. There are seeded teams in Round 4, and some in Round 3 that will be simply too strong for anybody on the unseeded side let alone Qarabag. It will require a lot of luck.

@Lorric101 , Qarabag is in Azerbaijani, Karabakh is used by Russian/English media. So both are fine to use as it means same club)

@AzeriLeague but in official web page this club is named Qarabagh. I think that English version of this word is Qarabagh.

@AzeriBoy1707 , now that is owner's fault for naming club like that. They also got wrong date in logo as it tells 1987, actually club is created in 1951
